This should be a wake-up call: New data suggest that the United States is one of just a few countries worldwide that is slipping backward.
The newest Social Progress Index, shared with me before its official release Thursday morning, finds that out of 163 countries assessed worldwide, the United States, Brazil and Hungary are the only ones in which people are worse off than when the index began in 2011. And the declines in Brazil and Hungary were smaller than America’s.

Thank you for such informative video especially the conclusive points at the end. We should add more vitamin D in our diet.

It is scary to imagine regressing back to a complete lockdown but heading back to school, juvenile sentiments around rights, and relaxation of the diligence because humans have shot for attention span and discipline makes it look probable.

I am not so comfortable sitting right on top of the USA and would like to see the border closure last the rest of the year. That being said, we have our huge share of the stupid up here too.

So glad to have moved from the big city a few years ago because it is going to get real again. The “plan” is to pack 30 students in each classroom and our arsehole premier is sounding like Trump saying stuff like “our plan is the best of all of the provinces.” I almost expected him to add on something like “believe me, I know lots about the pandemic. Probably more than anyone else and they all tell me how great a plan I have.”

Keep yourself safe, plan for the best and expect the worst!

I moved out of the city something like 8 years ago, but only to an outer-ring suburb. Hoping that’s good enough.

But my son, brother, and two nieces still live in the city limits.

My gut is telling me this is going to be a very difficult winter.
