Sinopsis: En plena primera guerra mundial. A los soldados británicos Blake y Schofield se les ha dado una misión importante, llegar un mensaje a un grupo que los separa 15 kilómetros, y que en medio se encuentra territorio enemigo supuestamente abandonado.

Lo primero que se resalta en este título es el de la fotografía, primero por que se usan tomas largas en donde se sigue al par de soldados, dándole mayor tensión en muchos momentos. Y por otra en diversos juegos de luces, que resultan impactantes, e incluso se siente un aire onírico en ciertas secuencias.

The first thing that stands out in this title is the photography, first because long shots are used where the pair of soldiers are followed, giving more tension in many moments. And on the other hand in various games of light, which are shocking, and even feel a dreamlike air in certain sequences.

La trama más allá de la misión en sí misma, trata de mostrar la crueldad de la guerra, con el contexto y con ciertos momentos, donde nos muestra que no hay tiempos para sentirse emocional, sino solo avanzar.

The plot, beyond the mission itself, tries to show the cruelty of war, with the context and with certain moments, where it shows us that there is no time to feel emotional, but only to move forward.

En general, la historia me gustó como fue contada, excepto cierta parte donde creo que cortan el ritmo y se siente un poco imaginativo. La música si bien al comienzo no hace mucho acto de presencia, luego comienza a darse mayor uso, y por los tramos finales, se siente excelsa. Otro punto positivo, es el trabajo de los escenarios bastante detallado y que refleja el horror de la situación.

Overall, I liked the story as it was told, except for a certain part where I think they cut the rhythm and it feels a bit imaginative. The music, although at the beginning it doesn't make much of an appearance, then it starts to be used more, and by the final stretches, it feels excellent. Another positive point is the detailed scenery work, which reflects the horror of the situation.

Excelente película, con un buen ritmo y entretenida. El trabajo de la fotografía es excepcional. Muy recomendada.
