Los futuros distópicos cada vez son más recurrentes como trama, tanto en películas como series. En este caso tenemos una idea parecida mezclada con algo que me recuerda a The Promised Neverland, unos niños encerrados en un centro con intenciones sospechosas. El manga comenzó a publicarse el 2018, siendo el mangaka Masakazu Ishiguro.

Sinopsis: Maru y Kiruko son dos jóvenes que viven en lo que parece un Japón luego de una catástrofe, donde al parecer la normalidad ha dejado de existir, y uno debe buscar cómo sobrevivir. Ellos tratarán de llegar a un lugar llamado “paraíso”. En otro escenario, en un centro donde viven unos niños, que al parecer ignoran el mundo exterior, verán como su rutina diaria comienza a cambiar.

Synopsis: Maru and Kiruko are two young people who live in what looks like a Japan after a catastrophe, where apparently normality has ceased to exist, and one must seek how to survive. Sumado a lo escrito anteriormente, tenemos una especie de monstruos “Man-eater” de formas variadas, la pareja Maru y Kiruko tienen habilidades que les permitirán combatir con ellos. La trama está llena de secretos e incluso, tengo dudas que los escenarios ocurran en las mismas fechas; sin embargo, poco a poco, se irá conociendo más a este contexto y a los diversos personajes.

Es un manga que si bien tiene peleas y algunos momentos de acción, no es su foco, sino mostrar este mundo e intentar dilucidar qué es lo que ha pasado. El arte con estilo propio es bueno sin llegar a ser excelente.
