Acabo de terminar esta 3era temporada de Sex Education y siento que el resultado final es un tanto agridulce. Esta temporada como las anteriores tiene 8 episodios con una duración aproximada de 50 minutos cada uno. En ella veremos el ingresos de nuevos personajes siendo el principal, a mi parecer, el de la nueva directora Hope, interpretada por Jemima Kirke.

I just finished this 3rd season of Sex Education and I feel that the end result is somewhat bittersweet. This season like the previous ones has 8 episodes with an approximate duration of 50 minutes each. In it we will see the entrance of new characters being the main one, in my opinion, the new principal Hope, played by Jemima Kirke.

En esta nueva temporada de clases en la secundaria Moordale, veremos el ingreso de una nueva directora, Hope. Ella traerá consigo unas nuevas técnicas para mejorar la publicidad de la escuela luego de los eventos de la anterior temporada. Por otro lado, veremos las diversas nuevas relaciones, como: Otis con Ruby, Adam con Eric, Ola con Lily, Maeve con Isaac, etc. Finalmente en casa de Otis, veremos cómo se lleva el embarazo de Jean.

In this new season of classes at Moordale High School, we will see the entrance of a new principal, Hope. She will bring with her some new techniques to improve the school's publicity after the events of the previous season. On the other hand, we will see the various new relationships, like: Otis with Ruby, Adam with Eric, Ola with Lily, Maeve with Isaac, etc. Finally at Otis' house, we will see how Jean's pregnancy is being handled.

La serie sigue siendo igual de adictiva que las anteriores. Diversos problemas sexuales que se verán confrontados por nuestros personajes, a la vez que se conoce más de personajes como Adam, Lily o Aimee. Obviamente, la relación principal, Maeve y Otis, seguirá siendo un recurrente tópico en la serie.

The series is still as addictive as the previous ones. Various sexual problems that will be confronted by our characters, while getting to know more about characters like Adam, Lily or Aimee. Obviously, the main relationship, Maeve and Otis, will continue to be a recurring topic in the series.

He de decir, que lo mejor de esta temporada, son los primeros capítulos, donde las problemáticas están más abiertas, ya que los capítulos finales se sienten demasiado resolutivos y hasta cierto punto predecibles. Entre lo que más me gusto está los diversos aspectos que explora la relación entre Adam y Eric, el darle un pasado y motivó a personajes como Michael Groff, padre de Adam, y finalmente el papel que desempeña Hope como la “villana”.

I have to say, that the best of this season, are the first chapters, where the issues are more open, as the final chapters feel too resolute and to some extent predictable. Among what I liked the most are the various aspects that explores the relationship between Adam and Eric, giving a past and motivated characters like Michael Groff, Adam's father, and finally the role played by Hope as the "villain".

Puntos malos veo en la post-relación Ruby y Otis, con escenas que simplemente no encajan. También me parece que esta temporada sigue alargando la no-relación entre Maeve y Otis de manera poco creíble, cansado incluso.

Bad points I see in the post-relationship Ruby and Otis, with scenes that just don't fit. I also find that this season continues to drag out the non-relationship between Maeve and Otis in a way that is not very believable, tiresome even.

A pesar de lo último mencionado, la serie mantiene su calidad de las anteriores, y si ya disfrutaste las anteriores, solo me queda recomendarla.

Despite the last mentioned, the series maintains its quality of the previous ones, and if you already enjoyed the previous ones, I can only recommend it.
