Happiness is a choice

Life is not as difficult as we looked at it, it all depends on our mindset, and happiness does not cost us anything as well. we can only attract our kind, so staying happy tells us that happy people will come around you, it is from the abundance of what you have that can be given out. You can't give what you don't have. It is from the abundance of your happiness that you can share with another.

And I have come to discover that happiness comes with extraordinary energy and beauty, our outward look is a pure reflection of our heart, so staying happy is the state of the mind that can only be reflected on our faces or actions. Happiness comes with peace.
We may ask, how can I be happy when I'm hurt deeply, or when I'm betrayed? The answer is simple, nothing is worth treading your happiness and peace of mind for. Let it go and continue your life, nothing is not worth stealing your happiness, have this mindset that what is not worth staying in your life will go, so when they go surprise them by being happy as ever, it may be difficult, don't dwell in the pains because it will only drain your strength,but instead encourage yourself and move on.
But you have to bear this in mind, nobody can give you that happiness you desire, accept or reject it. no one can make you happy like yourself, why because depending on people to make you happy has its own restrictions, and limitations, which is to say, people can decide when you should be happy and when not, and that implies that your happiness is time bound. So with that they will be able to navigate your emotions to suit themselves. So depending on others for your happiness is not a sure guarantee for staying happy. As we all have duration for things, so depending on people is setting duration for your happiness, which ought not to be so. Nobody can give you the happiness you deserve like yourself. So the only sure guarantee of happiness is yourself.

Nothing can hinder your happiness except yourself and your character towards others, when one exhibits the habit of jealousy, this is a big trait to your happiness and inner peace, been jealous comes with hetred, a joyous heart has no space for hetred, because jealousy is a joy killer, it kills faster than rat poison, and it also drains you. Another is being selfish, God bless us with the gift of people, so living a selfish life is also a joy killer, being selfish will do no good to us instead it will birth other negative characters that will kill your happiness, it is through selfishness that lack of contentment is birthed and with that it will grow to another stage which is jealousy and hetred, all these are joy killer and are all channelled to the state of our heart.
And I also come to discover that happiness comes with contentment, and contentment birth peace of mind.

Happiness is a choice, you don't pay for it, rather it is free,
Even the Bible records that a happy heart does good like a medicine, so staying happy is a medical that cures faster.
Discovering yourself is also a source of happiness, and doing things that excite you also is a secret for staying happy. Behind us putting in our best in whatever endeavor we find ourselves, staying happy is what will energize us and keep us going.

So when choosing, choose wisely.
But for me I choose to be happy because it will beautify and energizes me.😙🥰
