Parental separation and its effect on children

Hello everyone
Blessed to be here

Our actions or reactions as parents tend to have a greater effect on our children than us. The experiences at childhood are the crucial determinate of their adult personality traits. Childhood is an early stage where they can be greatly affected positively or negatively depending on the decision of their parents, and how they handle situations.

The separation of parents has a greater effect on the children's mental health, because mostly their reactions are expressed consistently resulting from what they experienced in their development stage.
When a family is blessed with children, they assume the role of parenting and rearing those children. This indispensable role of the family determines the future development of the child and their all round personality.
This is because the family has more to do with the child’s ultimate behavioural pattern which could invariably be reflected in every aspect of their lives, so the social, mental and moral aspects of our children depend solely on us, therefore parents are to be held responsible for any behaviour contrary to the behavior exhibited by our children.

Children’s expression of distress differs from that of adults. So parental separation is connected to multiple negative outcomes in their children in all spheres of life, primarily in their psychological adjustment, ( it brings about anxiety, depression, hostility, etc) academic performance, behavioral disorders, self-concept, and social adjustment, because when this takes place they believe they have no coverage, also children from separated families had a higher probability of being exposed to gender violence, which they cannot overcome.

So whatever we do, we ought to consider our children, the outcome of our decision pertaining to things, the negative or positive effects of that upon our children.
