Let's Make Begendi! (EN/TR) Beğendi Yaptım!
-EN
Hello everyone. I hope you are having fun. Because the weather is a little cloudy for me :D. I'll try to get over it as soon as possible, but obviously I'm not very good at it. Sometimes I don't recognize myself. I guess the new phase of my life is not going well for me. Again, because of my own mistakes. I hope I don't end this post crying. lol.
Today I will share a side dish recipe with you. I said a side dish. Because I've never seen anyone eat this dish without a different dish before. This dish, which is mostly used with dishes made with red meat, is also very compatible with chicken, I think. The name of the dish Beğendi. Many Turks know this from the dish called Hünkar Begendi. But I will not do Hünkar Begendi today. I will serve with a dish that I shared on my blog before.
Actually, this dish is not a dish my family cooks or knows. I can even say that my grandmother, who taught me how to cook, learned how to cook this dish from me :D. In fact, thanks to television shows, she had seen this dish before, but never cooked it. I thought my family would like this dish too. Because they usually love dishes about roasted eggplant. Even now, there is a roasted eggplant salad in the fridge. It was a little weird. It was lucky for her that my grandmother was at our house the day I cooked this. Like a little kid, "How are you going to do it?, When are you going to add this ingredient?" I find it a little weird that she asks questions like this. Because I usually ask these questions, and we changed roles. It was unfamiliar, but funny enough for me. I don't look for many reasons to smile anyway. It's only important to be willing. lol.
Without further ado, let's have a look at the recipe!

Ingredients
5-6 Medium Eggplant
2 Tablespoons of Butter
2 Tablespoons of Flour
2 Glasses of Milk (400 mL)
Grated Cheddar Cheese (I Used 1 Handful)
2 Teaspoons of Salt
2 Teaspoons of Black Pepper
1 Clove of Grated Garlic
Steps
Turn on the stove to medium heat. Put the eggplants on it.
Cook, turning the eggplant from time to time, until the eggplant is cooked.
Cut off the stem of the eggplant and peel off the skin.
Finely chop the peeled eggplants.
Put the butter in the pan and melt it over medium heat.
Add the flour and start frying.
Add the chopped eggplant and grated garlic to the pan. Fry for a few more minutes.
Add milk in moderation. Don't forget to add salt and pepper too.
Finally, add the cheddar cheese and mix.
When the cheddar cheese melts, end the cooking process and serve your dish. Bon Appetit!

Herkese selam.
Şu an bile dolapta közlenmiş patlıcan salatası duruyor. Biraz garip oldu.
