Hello to everyone! I haven't posted anything here for a long time. So I don't know how to start. So far, I have always shared content about volleyball. Today I will do the same and make a short assessment of the situation. I call this post "Weekly Update" because I don't know exactly what to talk about either. There have been many developments in the last month that I did not write here.

Among these developments, the news that interests me the most, and more precisely, which I think is exciting, is about Imoco Volley Conegliano. In the past years, Vakıfbank Sports Club had an undefeated streak and entered the Guinness Book of Records with this series. The unbeaten streak consisted of a total of 73 matches, and the team that ended this unbeaten streak was Fenerbahçe, which is also a Turkish team. On the other hand, Imoco Volley has been undefeated for the last few years and shared Vakıfbank's 73 game record with last week's Cuneo match. If they win the Fenerbahce match in the Champions League, I think they will extend this series to about 90 games. I'm sure they're the new owner of the record now. I used to think they were playing a good team game, but that's not the case anymore. They are totally dependent on Egonu and Wolosz's performance. That's why I got a little bored watching it. But I still enjoy watching. I just don't think they have as high a viewing pleasure as they used to be.

Another surprising development happened in SuperLega. Last year's champion, Lube Civitanova, started the season with consecutive defeats. Lube is still the leader in points, but it is not possible to say that they have made a bright start to the season. Especially when they lost 3-2 to Piacenza and 3-1 to Trentino. I expected the reigning champion to start the season with much more assertiveness.

If I come to my country's leagues, I want to talk about women first. Because I'm just going to make a few sentences. Frankly, when talking about big teams, I think that only Vakıfbank and Fenerbahçe should be considered. Eczacıbaşı pays the price of wrong transfers with difficulty in matches. Boskovic, Heyrman and Maja are great signings. I think these three players are the three players that keep the team alive. Galatasaray has an unbalanced game setup. The same goes for Turkish Airlines. Kiera Van Ryk is now back in her old form and I think she put her team in a better position. The only memorable development I could say for women in the last few weeks was the Fenerbahçe-Vakıfbank match. Fenerbahce won this match. Fenerbahçe was the only team that would beat Vakıfbank in the league and they won this match. Vakıfbank established a team balance, but Fenerbahçe broke this balance and created a much better team. If Fenerbahçe continues like this, it can end Imoco's streak.

What I can talk about for men is a really exciting league period. Any team can beat any team and there is no definite balance of power. This makes the matches much more exciting. In the standings, Halkbank is at the top and has won all eight games it has played so far. Actually, I did not expect such a performance from this team. But they play a really good team game. The only point I can criticize is the star player of the team, Hernandez. He's an excellent player. But he has a lot of unsportsmanlike moves and is extremely overbearing. If I were to talk about other teams, I think almost every team has a few shortcomings. Therefore, in general, players are in the foreground, not teams. For example, when Ziraat Bankkart is mentioned, instead of the team game they played, Faik Samed Güneş, the middle player of the team, comes to mind. Because statistically, he does everything a top middle-blocker player should do. The same is true for Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. The only team that surprised me was Altekma. Altekma was a team that rose a lot last season, but I think they will go back to a lower league this season. I hope they regain their strength soon.

Herkese Merhaba! Uzun süredir burada bir şeyler paylaşmıyordum. Bu yüzden nasıl başlayacağımı bilmiyorum. Şu ana kadar hep voleybol ile ilgili içerikler paylaştım. Bugün de böyle yapacağım ve kısa bir durum değerlendirmesi yapacağım. Bu yazıya durum değerlendirmesi diyorum çünkü tam olarak nelerden bahsedeceğimi ben de bilmiyorum. Burada yazmadığım son bir ayda birçok gelişme oldu.

Bu gelişmelerden en çok ilgimi çeken ve daha doğrusu heyecan verici olduğunu düşündüğüm haber Imoco Volley Conegliano ile ilgili. Geçmiş yıllarda Vakıfbank Spor Kulübü bir yenilmezlik serisine sahipti ve bu seri ile Guinness Rekorlar Kitabı'na girmişlerdi. Yenilmezlik serisi toplam 73 maçtan oluşuyordu ve bu yenilmezlik serisini sonlandıran takım ise yine bir Türk takımı olan Fenerbahçe'ydi.
