From simple materials to stunning display

It's my first time here and I hope am welcome here.l

So today I will be making a simple shelf decoration. I don't have a shelf in my house I would have loved to do more of this beautiful decoration.

Materials used are:

Cottonboard
Gum
Plastic cover
Watercolor
Stone

The procedures

The materials are not much but am glad the outcome was beautiful.

I broke the cottonboard head, then applied gum on the plastic cover and I started to place the cottonboard still on it.

Until I get the exact amount I need, then set it aside to dry.

I cut one side of the cottonboard again and then applied gum on the part that was cut then placed it on the part that wasn't cut.

I wanted to make use of it to form a flower, so the same process was applied to three sticks of the cottonboard, which made three flowers.
I gum some cottonboard heads on the other side of the plastic.

I poured gum inside and started to put the cottonboard head that was cut inside the plastic.

I also put the flowers to form a mini beach, haha I am sure it looks funny to people, but it's kind of unique to me because I have been trying to make this for some time now but I didn't get it right. And this time it came out beautifully.

After that, I make use of watercolor to paint the cottonboard's head in different colors.

Lastly, I applied gum on the stones and then placed them on the back of the long cottonboard stick.

Now the shelf decoration is ready, I will be giving this to my neighbor because she has a shelf in her house.
