My healthcare experience

Sometimes we fail to understand that people who work in the hospital are also human which means they can make mistakes as well.

Meanwhile, sometimes people who work in the hospital have a nonchalant attitude because they know we don't have a choice but to abide by whatever they say, which is not supposed to be so.

The government on the other hand failed to understand that health is the most important thing that citizens should take good care of, and once there is no good equipment in the hospital there is nothing people working there can do.

When I was working in the factory, we worked with machines that could injure us so we were always careful not to get injured by the machines, but then there was no how everyone could be extra careful.

One morning, we resumed work as usual and everyone was at their department working, after an hour the production stopped and someone was rushed out that machine had cut his thumb finger. I was curious to see what it looked like to lose a finger so I went outside and when I got there the guy was already inside our shift manager's car. I was asked to follow him because the main staff that was there couldn't leave the factory since the shift manager was taking him with his car already.

The person who was supposed to drive the factory ambulance was nowhere to be found and that was the why shift manager had to take him with his car. When we got there, nobody was looking at how painful it was for the guy that got injured, those nurses were saying they were not on duty and the person resuming was not there yet.

I nearly cried that day because I was looking at the guy's finger that was already separated from his body, meanwhile, my shift manager was holding it so tight to his body so that the cells in the finger wouldn't die before he got attended to in the hospital.

Some minutes later, the nurse that was on duty came and attended to him, and she came with an excuse that she couldn't do anything other than give him pain relief until the doctor arrived there to say what they should do. I couldn't believe that a hospital could be so careless like that, seeing someone fighting for his life and yet all they were doing was giving us excuses here and there.

When the doctor came, he said they couldn't join the hand there because there was no equipment to get it done in the hospital but they could only stop the blood that was flowing out so that the guy wouldn't die.

My shift manager had no choice but to agree and the finger that was cut was thrown away because they didn't know what to do about it, meanwhile, there was still life inside the finger, it was still shaking.

Ever since then, I don't pray I get injured and go to the hospital because some hospitals are reckless, all they know how to do is write bills.

The only good experience I had with hospital was when my sister fainted at work and she was rushed down to the hospital it was as if they had been expecting her before, but not in the same hospital where the guy that got injured was taken anyway.

She was given good care and that was when we discovered that she was pregnant because all series of tests were run on her immediately after we got there, when I left and came back to check on her, I was told they had visiting time that the patient is resting at the moment.

Unlike that other hospital that was giving excuses despite seeing someone fighting for his life, and every day the guy spent in the hospital they have never told us he's resting or they have visiting time.

Well, the thing is that there are some qualified hospitals and there is also a quack hospital as well that was what I believed after the two experiences with hospitals.

Just imagine the finger was cut off , honestly ehn we lack so many things in this country, hand that can not grow again and you cut it off like that just because of lack of equipment. Only God can save us in this our country .

Like seriously our healthcare facilities are so poor and I am not expecting much from any of them ever since I experience that horrible scene looking at someone's finger and yet they couldn't fix it back

The rules in hospitals are too strict. But even if one is not on duty, doesn't it sound nice to save a life? I am sure the finger would be cut out. I feel so bad for him.

It was cut off completely without looking at how bad the guy will feel later.
Am not sure it's their rules but nonchalant attitude.
All they care about is the bill people will pay and not how to save lives

Can you imagine, so where did the ambulance driver go to when they needed him the most?
