My traveling experience
To me traveling is stressful and it exhausts me a lot and that is why I don't really like traveling if it is not very important I go.
I don't really have many traveling habits because I don't like traveling to a far distance, I love going out but not like traveling to a long distance place.
Some years back when my sister wanted to do her engagement, I nearly missed it because I was feeling reluctant to travel and I was busy at work, she called me that I would be the one to do her hair and what more can I say than yes?
I was supposed to have gotten to my mom's place on Monday so that I would have done the hair for her but I got there on Wednesday. When I was packing up my load for traveling, I only took the clothes I could change into and the material I would need to get her hair done. I didn't carry any luggage because I don't like heavy loads.
When I got there, she was scared that I only took one school bag with me and she quickly asked, "Are you not staying for the party," I replied, "Why not ?".
She looked at my Mom and they all burst into laughter another sibling of mine asked, "Won't you make hair for the bride?" I smiled because I knew they were surprised that I only had a school bag at my back instead of plenty of bags, so I replied, "I will because I have all that I need here with me,".
My mom asked again, "Why didn't you pack plenty of bags because you are staying till Sunday," I laughed then I said to everyone, "I don't like taking too many clothes when I am traveling, so inside this bag, I have the dress for the wedding and of course two clothes I will change into along with my undies and the materials for the bride's hair,". Then everyone kept quiet since I had explained myself to them.
When I got inside I saw my sibling's luggage and I was like, "Are you guys planning to stay here forever? Why all this plenty of luggage?" My junior sister replied, "Once you have kids now you won't be able to carry just one school bag whenever you are traveling," I couldn't laugh enough because that was true but still I can't carry too much load like that unless I have a car of my own.
I love packing little things whenever I am traveling so even if I have children I wouldn't pack plenty of loads still.
All my traveling experience hasn't passed from Lagos to Ogun state, and despite the short distance I get exhausted whenever I travel home, so I literally don't like anything that has to do with traveling, staying in a car for some hours. Meanwhile, the road is not that good and that makes the journey rough so I wouldn't want to stress myself over the journey if it is not very important to me.
Last year December, my Mom called everyone to come celebrate Christmas with her I told her I couldn't come because of the road and more so aside from the road I am always busy during that time so my family knows that I don't like traveling and they don't always bother me to come home except we have something very important to do like wedding or my mom's birthday because we always go home to celebrate it for her.
