A Symphony of Kindness.

In a world filled with violence, sadness, depression, low self-esteem and the like, showing kindness wouldn't be a bad act to share as it would do something huge for such an individual, which is, making them smile and seeing the need to be happy even when life feels unfair to them. We are in a world filled with selfish people who only know of themselves alone and ignore other people's needs. We are in a world where people do not want to care if you have eaten or not, if you are moody or not as long as they are doing okay in their corner. In such moments, some need our kind act in different ways.

Kindness has often been overlooked in its simplicity, and what many people do not understand is that, it holds an immense power to transform lives. It incorporates the true importance of empathy, compassion, and selflessness.

Kindness shouldn't be something so hard to give out because it doesn't cost one's blood or sweat. Kindness to me requires sacrifice and if you aren't willing to sacrifice some things, there isn't a way to be kind to another fellow. Since I was a child, my parents taught me how to be kind to another person and the best kindness you can show is the one where the person feels loved and know there is someone who would go out of their way to make them happy without expecting anything in return.

Kindness is when you compliment someone who looks good or their outfits look nice. Sometimes, some people may put on the best outfit and still not look happy within them, they might only want to fake or pretend they are fine, but showing them how they look, complimenting their outfit, make-up, hair etc is something amazing you could give out to make them smile. Some people want some soothing words and not the ones that will keep them silent for the rest of their lives because of how you have talked harshly at them. I do not hesitate to compliment someone with a smile on my face to prove that what I have said is the truth and not that I am faking my words just to say something out, and the outcome I get in return makes me feel good that I have done something for humanity that day.

This is why it is important to be careful of what you speak out. Words can make or mar a person's life and being kind means cautioning your tongue not to speak negative words to another person. I love to smile at people and that is a part of me that can never be taken away as it's inherent in me. I try my best to smile when looking at someone because it gives them this feeling of warmth and acceptance.

Kindness in other words can mean tolerance and being patient when you are with someone. We cannot be the same way ever. We are individuals with different personalities who think from different perspectives. The way you may accept a word might be different from another person and this is where you need to be tolerant and patient to understand the person's point of view. The way some people speak sometimes might be for a reason that we do not know until we move closer to them to understand their point clearly. A sin isn't committed without a reason behind it

Generosity is also one act of kindness. Do you know why I love to give freely without expecting in return? Ever since I have come across the Bible verse that says it is more blessed to give than to receive, I have all the time acted quickly in being generous because I believe the blessing will come from above and not from man. My kindness isn't done to expect in return because, at the end of the day, it is useless. My kindness wouldn't have value then.

With how things are hard today and understanding that the economy hasn't been good to many people, I give out what I have to others who do not have, and seeing them smile makes me happy. It has been a natural thing for me to be selfless when it comes to showing my kindness to other people and I do not wait to be paid back in the same way by humans.

It's just that in today's world, a lot of people have taken advantage of our kindness which has caused the act to be reduced and people are now careful of who they render their kindness to. Some individuals are ungrateful that they will make you regret your action of helping out and sacrificing some things for them. But do we need to stop this act despite how we have been treated? No! We shouldn't stop doing the good things we are doing. Showing kindness is offering to someone else something because you want to, and not because you have to.

Being kind is something the world needs. If there could be 80% of people who shows kindness today without being proud or arrogant about it, and not that they expect to be given back the same way, then I believe everything would be fine and there would be peace reigning in us.

I want us to see kindness as something we are called to do because everyone needs it to live the best and most peaceful life. Everyone needs kindness to be themselves and believe in what they can do. Kindness is an act that can transform lives and stop one from killing themselves from thinking there is no hope again.

Yes, you are right. Not everyone is willing to spread kindness again but that shouldn't make us stop right?
Thanks for reading.

All your words are true Princess, a little bit of kindness can go a long way in making someone's life better.

Yes, there are also selfish people in the world, and that shouldn't deter us from being kind.

I apologize for not noticing this post until now. I have been a little ill and am behind with things and working backwards to catch up!

Your words beautifully capture the essence of kindness and its profound impact on both the giver and the receiver. In a world where negativity often overshadows the light, your reminder of the power of a simple act of kindness is truly inspiring. It resonates deeply with me as well.

Kindness, indeed, is a universal language that transcends boundaries and connects us all. Being empathetic, compassionate, and selfless are things we are naturally made to do, but many people want something in exchange. We should all take the opportunity to pause, reflect, and extend a hand of kindness to those around us.

Showing kindness without expecting anything in return is not only admirable but also a rare gem in today's world. Your genuine desire to make others smile and bring warmth to their hearts is a testament to the beauty of human nature.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on kindness and reminding us of the transformative power it holds. Your words have touched my heart and inspired me to be more mindful of the kindness I can spread in my own corner of the world.

I am so sorry too for replying to your comment late, I have been so occupied these days and just creating time to be online and do the needful. How are you fairing now?
Yes, kindness is a simple act, but it holds an immense power to change lots of things which we may never think of or expect. No matter how people have made the act seem wrong, we should not stop showing kindness because, in the end, we reap the reward.
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment on my post about kindness. I truly appreciate your coming around.

Don’t ever apologize for a late reply my friend. You are absolutely okay. It can be hard being kind to some people, but we should never cease as you rightfully mention. I try to believe that deep down, everybody is good. We never know another’s story or circumstance, so it is not our business to judge right. Kindness benefits the person performing the act every bit as much, if not arguably more so, that the person receiving the kindness.

I am very humbled and privileged to be able to come along side with @dreemers and @dreemport this month, and try sharing kindness with such wonderful and caring people. It truly lives up to its name @dreemforlife. Thank you for your caring heart my friend.

You are absolutely right. You know, even the Bible confirms that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Giving out your kindness has more benefits to you than to the receiver.

And yes, everyone has that 'good' act in them. No one can be completely evil. Lol
Thanks for the response again and it's amazing to be able to talk about this wonderful topic as it helps us to express ourselves of what we love doing for humanity.
