Auto-Renewal Premium Subscription

There is no doubt that the premium subscription in the Inleo community has been amazing and I believe those who are subscribed to it would attest positively to that. The premium feature began last year in October and I only began my journey as a subscriber in November because as of then, I could remember I had not much HBD at hand and I decided to wait till the next month to begin with. So far, the premium feature has been doing amazingly well for me.

I renewed my premium some days ago and that was because I had saved up HBD worth 10 dollars to subscribe with. After all, I could not stop wanting the features I am enjoying from it. The subscription has allowed me to be able to make long-form content on thread which makes it easier for me to do instead of doing a threadstorm because of the limit of 240 characters set on the type editor for non-subscriber except I just needed to do a threadstorm and that happens when I have to do the #outreach curation on my content.

I love the fact that I could edit my long-form content on thread because you know, we cannot be 100% perfect. There are some times, after making a thread and reading it over again, we still need to edit — either to add more words which we forgot to include or we need to remove some words which do not make meaning or perhaps we detect an error which we couldn't while typing before then. I noticed we can now edit long-form content directly from Inleo which is a good development. Then, once an error is made on a post and needs to be edited and corrected, we would have to use another frontend to edit which would end up forfeiting the idea of posting using the Inleo frontend. The team are doing tremendously well and I applaud them for that.

There is one suggestion I would love more, which is to have the auto-renewal enabled instead of doing it manually all the time. Do you know why?

Remember how we used to subscribe data to our phone every month and the option to renew or not would pop up? This is so that we won't have to do it manually when the money could be deducted from the account while the data gets renewed automatically. Of course, we must have added some amount to our account to do that except you want to stop the feature anytime if you aren't sure of how the next subscription would turn out.

In the case of a premium subscription here, the auto-renewal would work automatically when there is the option to enable that against the next subscription date instead of doing it manually and this would require having the exact HBD to use ready in place to be removed automatically.

With this, it would solve two problems on our end. The first is that you won't have to bother checking when your next premium will end and in most cases, might have forgotten when it ends. Before I renewed this current one, I didn't know my subscription had ended until when I had to make a longer thread and tried publishing but it wasn't going through, popping up the limit character to me. I got confused and thought it should work since my premium subscription was still active. I checked and discovered I had used up my subscription and immediately had to renew it.

Another issue was that my delegation tiers were brought down to 13% some days ago which I didn't take notice of on time but was always checking my wallet to confirm my current staked Leo. I discovered I was sent liquid Leo instead of staked one. I quickly checked the dashboard and noticed I was getting 13% liquid Leo instead of 22% which I was getting before. I thought of what could be wrong and remembered I'd renewed my premium subscription and the time I had been unsubscribed from it got me back to the initial per cent. I had to switch back to staked by paying 0.001 Hive to Leo voter again. I am not saying paying that low amount of Hive again is wrong or too much to keep doing, but it would be best to have that auto-renewal feature to avoid such an issue happening.

This is my suggestion regarding the premium subscription which I would be glad is being considered.

Thanks for your time reading. Looking forward to your interaction.

In case of auto renewal I think there is a complications. Remember that your mobile balance is not decentralized which can be cut my network operator but hive is decentralized and it's impossible to taken from your account automatically. If it can take 10 dollar then, taking 100/1000 dollar isn't impossible also. I hope you got the point. And that's why it seems impossible in my eyes. But yearly subscription may come in the future.

Yes. For this, an option would be prompted if it should be auto renew or not? Same thing happens with mobile network because they wouldn't just deduct money without asking if it should be removed or not, so you will be the one to click yes or no and then the transaction is done.
