Happy weekend Hive Open Mic Community. This is Princessbusayo and for this week 185, the theme is "Passion", I will be presenting a song, yea, a cover song titled 10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman.

I remember this was one of my best songs when I was in secondary school, it is one song that I always sing and one that always comes to my mind whenever I want to sing a song and this is because it is an inspiring one and very interesting lyrics as they talk about God.
The song describes various attributes of God, His love for mankind and He deserves praise and unending worship for 10,000 years and forever more. The attributes of God in the song are God's holiness, rich in love, slow to anger, lovingkindness, kind heart and a great name.
Passion is something that drives us to achieve a particular goal and linking that to this song, with all the goodness of God and His unending love towards us, there is this passion in us that makes us continue to adore Him, making us want to continue praising Him forever. Amidst the pain, there is something that drives us to acknowledge that God is still worthy of our praise.
This song reminds us to always be grateful and should always count our blessings knowing that amidst our struggles, we can still find reasons in our hearts to bless the Lord. We cannot disagree with the fact that God has been good and will continue to be good because He never fails. Being passionate about praising God will make us realise a lot of things that we have enjoyed from Him and know that He will never stop showing up even when life is hard.
The phrase "10,000 Reasons" signifies eternity and it is to declare that we will praise God forever and will never run out of reasons to bless His name. This can be possible when we have the zeal, drive and passion to acknowledge His presence and to continue praising Him even after we leave this earth.
