What is your ideal version of “success”. What does it look like and How can you get there?

This is a question from the Abundance Tribe BiWeekly Question which you can join here

I do not want to miss this beautiful question from this community. @iskafan' s post inspired me to write my own entry and let the world know my ideal version of success. I read her post and I totally concur to her own version of success which you can read here and that made me gave a comment which goes like this;

Success is when all your efforts aren´t in waste at the end.

To me, success can mean everything as long as you aren't taking the wrong route to achieve your aim because you will come back regretting your step. I love using student as an example. When a student is getting ready for an exam and he is awake reading, burning midnight candles, depriving him or herself from things that could bring distraction, even when those things are what he likes and when he finally writes the exam and saw his result which is a good grade. He will be so happy and victorious because he believed his effort wasn't in waste.

Just like in the post I read, she said "Success is an euphoria of Victory." That is indeed true because when you succeed in a thing you have been working on for so long and you eventually gets good result in it, it means you are victorious and have fought a good fight.

Your efforts aren't in waste when you achieve your aim. You finally get to harvest what you have been sowing for so long. Success is like an investment you have accumulated and earn profit from it. It takes patient if you want to be successful.

Success doesn't come instantly or immediately, it takes time and during that moment, it is testing your patience and how enduring you are and when you can wait to endure these stages of depriving yourself, burning midnight candles etc, success can never be denied for you.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE?

Just like a pregnant woman who have been carrying a seed in her womb for nine months. She might decide not to wait but abort the pregnancy. She might decide to keep it and endure the pain that comes with it but after the nine months, she finally gives birth. The joy of seeing her baby alive and healthy would give that beautiful smile on her face and say to herself "thank God."

That is how success looks like. The pain attached to the pregnancy is same with the challenges and problems one goes through and the efforts he has been engaging in and when endurance and patience coupled with consistency are combined together in the journey, success would be given birth to and with smiles beaming on such person's face, he would scream "at last, I made it*.

HOW CAN YOU GET THERE?

Though it isn't easy but you just have to keep going and never give up. The journey of a thousand miles, starts with a step.
Setting goals, taking actions would definitely bring good result rather than not taking a step.

We must be ready to take the risks involved in the journey of success or else, one wouldn't have a good result to be happy of.

Thanks for reading

Thanks for the tag and for promoting my post, princess. I love how you compared success to the delivery of a child. The sight of a healthy new born baby.... Alive and kicking is such a wonderful experience. And that is applicable to the things we put our minds in to accomplish. Thanks for joining in the Biweekly Question. Cheers.

Success means a lot to different people. But I quite agree with the points you made here. We can attain success if we don't get tired of working. Besides happiness is part of success. Fulfillment is too. All the best

Success is so much to so many people @princessbusayo, and all different by the individual; it's different for everyone. But for most people, it does not come easy nor right away, it takes perseverence to get there no matter how high or low they set the bar.
