Projecting my future.

One thing I know about myself is that I am not lazy. I know what's best for me and would do whatever it takes to get it. Many times, I have thought about things surrounding me, and I feel I do not have sufficient resources to make me discover what I am capable of doing.

I am stuck in a situation where there have been limits for me and this has made me not see what I could do better if given the chance, but that does not mean I shouldn't use what's available to get some things done. Things would fall into place as long as I am not lazy.

Just as Mahatma Gandhi said in one of his quotes that the future depends on what you do today. That is right!

I remembered some years back, compared to the present, I could see a lot of changes and it was because of the decisions and steps I took to make it work. Though, I wouldn't exclude God's help in them. He has the biggest part in my life and I wouldn't be here if not for my maker.

I wasn't born with a silver spoon, but looking at how things have revealed themselves today, especially with my siblings and me, then I would say we worked for it so hard. We wouldn't be here if we didn't take action. A lazy person doesn't dream. Do you dream and fold your hands? Those who know what is best will make it happen as they do not want to settle for less or let someone control them anyhow or become slaves to them.

For a dream to come to fruition, one has to take some big steps, because everything is all about risk. You cannot have it all smoothly. There are always obstacles on the way, and hard decisions many of us have to take to be the best we want to be.

I wouldn't even believe it if someone told me five years ago that this is where I would be. You know, coming to embrace the world of crypto, being assured of help with my degree studies, being independent without relying on anyone etc, I never knew things could turn out this way, there are things I still get surprised at that I didn't see myself doing them now, but it is what it is. Thank God I was not lazy too, because I grabbed some opportunities which defined my present today. My younger sister would say, "I know you know what you are doing and I am proud of you for the things you are doing now."

Sincerely, I still am confused about what the future holds because no one can see it, we can only envision ourselves being the best; working and earning the best income, being great parents to our kids, owning the best houses in the estate with an amazing partner who supports etc. This is everyone's dream which, when we put in our hard work and prayer most especially, then we should consider them happening except God's plan changes. You know, His plans are the greatest?

Looking at my present life, I am always working hard to build a fancy future for myself, having a home that is peaceful and exempt from violence, and seeing my kids running around the house playing while I focus on my career. Yes, one of my dreams is to have kids surrounding me and, impact their lives.

I believe my future will be bright because I am saving, will invest in businesses and also in estates when I have enough, and then work hard daily while I do not spend extravagantly. I want to be financially stable as I do not want to live in poverty, thereby depriving my family of the utmost care they desire.

Above all, I wouldn't want to stay in Nigeria forever. I am already taking steps toward it, all thanks to my big sister that never wanted me to limit myself to this country but to explore. Can a lazy girl achieve all of these? No, this is why I am doing my best every day and not squandering everything I earn on Hive and even when I get a good Job so that I can have enough funds to get all of the necessary documents processed.

Then, I wouldn't want to rely on all of these because just as the saying that man proposes, God disposes — people can only plan while God determines how things turn out. This shouldn't stop me from taking part in being hard-working, patient, persevering and consistent while I pray to God for guidance and the best way to go.

Thanks for your time on my blog.

Hehehe. Not that it is bad, but there aren't enough resources to help us achieve all we want. I need more practical resources than theory. Lol

You are an hardworking lady princess and you are one of the lady that I have met in my life that inspire me to thrive hard to get what I want no matter how tough it is. I believe everything is going to fall into places for you as you wish and wanted. Just keep doing your best because you are going places.

All our Nigerian people don't want to stay in Nigeria oo😃😃
You spoke well dear, the future actually depends on what we do today and since you have cultivated a working spirit I believe it will work out just as planned.
I believe that dreams are very easy to have because even a baby can tell he or she wants to be a millionaire tomorrow but accomplishing the dream is the main job. If we don't work towards what we want to achieve then we will never achieve it. In simple terms, we will never achieve a dream we don't work hard to earn it..

Don't just dream but make it happen. That is the beauty of our dreams and wishes. We have to take steps and actions.
Thank you, Ovey 😊

My dear, life itself is a risk. We must move on to achieve our dreams. We will not just predict, but work towards it.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes, we cannot just predict without taking actions. They will only be a wishful thinking with nothing happening. Thank you ma

Wow...just wow
You have got wider dreams for yourself princess. I have known you as a committed fellow towards whatever you set Ur mind to achieve. A young lady full of positive energy to succeed. No one achieves success with laziness...it can only be a mere talk if action is not taken. Leaving Nigeria to another country is also a nice dream. Investment and plans for your future children are all great dreams and some are already work on progress...

I wish you all the best in your life endeavours

Yes, you cannot achieve success if laziness is involved. One will just be on a spot with no progress.
Thank you for your amazing comment and wishes. May God help us all to achieve our goals.

I read this and even though I've never met you, I deduced something definite, you're not a lazy person and you are completely right, you can't dream and fold your hands, unless that's all you ever hope for them to be, "Just dreams".

There's no doubt that in the years to come you'll be better and greater than where you are. Keep pushing and thriving ❤️
