Fear of Failure

Fear never disappears from our lives, no matter how much we convince ourselves that we are well-prepared. We still feel a bit of fear.

The most common fear in my life is probably the fear of failure. When we don't know something and it's our first time doing it, we feel scared or anxious because we might fail.

There are things I'm afraid to do because maybe I haven't experienced them yet, I don't know the emotions and situations I'll feel and encounter once I do them.

Last month, I had an idea for a project to earn money. I planned for this project, but until now, I haven't started it.

Why? Because I'm afraid the project might fail even though I know I studied it first.

Our fear usually comes from negative thoughts we think might happen to us.

Like when I first drove a car, I was very scared, even though it hadn't happened yet, I thought, what if I crash?

It's hard to fight the fear of failure, the only way I know to fight it is to face it. If there's something you're afraid of, even if you're still scared, do it anyway.

Because once you start something you should do, you know you won't back down, and while you're there, you'll notice that you become more conscious of things and gradually adjust based on the situation.

That there's really nothing to fear, that you should just stay calm.

If we don't confront the fear of failure we feel, we won't try new things in this world.

But it's okay because it's normal to feel fear of failure. But in the end, you still need to gather all the courage you have because if you give in to your fear, you'll lose something much bigger.
