BREAK-UP: FUSS OR HEAL. (#KISS -74)

Breakups are natural part of romantic relationships and, while they can be emotionally challenging, they also offer an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery. It's important not to fuss excessively about breakups, as doing so can hinder our emotional healing, prevent us from moving forward, and hinder our overall well-being.

A warm greetings to every-one on this amazing platform. It feels good to be back to my blogging activities and I must say that I am most thrilled by the effort towards #KISS and dexterity exuded here.

While brainstorming on what to write about and critically considering my personal experiences, I feel energetic to write on the fact that people ought not to fuss over issues of break-ups. I personally experienced a break-up and I can’t deny the fact that it was overwhelming.

Over time I have seen and met a lot of people who make a deal out of their breakup experience, they involve a lot of person in it, they allow it put a hold on certain aspects of their life and they become the opposite of themselves. On the flip side their partners may not even give a second thought about the whole happening. I think instead of seeing negativity, we can build value and invest so much in ourselves beyond the injuries and hurts.

Instead of Fuss we can do the following instead;

Embracing Change: Change is an inevitable aspect of life. Breakups signify a change in the dynamics of a relationship, and rather than resisting it, we should learn to embrace change as an opportunity for new beginnings. Fussing over the end of a relationship only prolongs the pain and prevents us from adapting to the new chapter of our lives.
Personal Growth: Breakups can serve as catalysts for personal growth. The introspection that follows a breakup encourages us to evaluate ourselves, our needs, and our desires. Instead of fussing over the past, we should focus on the lessons learned and the self-improvement that can result from such experiences.

Rediscovering Independence: Focusing too much on a past relationship can cause us to lose sight of our own individuality. Breakups offer a chance to rediscover our independence, interests, and aspirations. Instead of fussing about what's lost, we should celebrate the opportunity to invest in ourselves and our personal development.

Opening Doors to New Opportunities: When one door closes, another one opens. Fussing about a breakup can blind us to the potential new opportunities that lie ahead. Whether it's new friendships, career advancements, or other romantic possibilities, dwelling on the past can prevent us from recognizing the exciting prospects that await us.

Mental and Emotional Well-being: Excessive fussing about a breakup can take a toll on our mental and emotional well-being. Holding onto negative emotions, resentment, or regret can lead to stress, anxiety, and even depression. Letting go and moving forward allows us to prioritize our mental health and overall happiness.

Perspective and Acceptance: Over time, with distance and perspective, the intensity of the pain associated with a breakup often diminishes. Instead of incessantly fussing over the details of the breakup, we should work towards acceptance and acknowledge that relationships end for various reasons. This perspective can provide closure and pave the way for emotional healing.

As much as I would love to look at it from both ends, I feel that if we look at the brighter side of things, it would be better off. I can’t lie, I was broken a multiple time, I prayed, I cried and finally I moved on.

Realistically, in the grand scheme of life, breakups are just one chapter in our personal stories. It's important not to fuss too much about them, but rather to see them as opportunities for growth, self-discovery, and new beginnings. By embracing change, valuing personal growth, rediscovering our independence, recognizing new opportunities, and safeguarding our mental and emotional well-being, we can navigate breakups with grace and resilience, ultimately emerging stronger and wiser.

Written with love.
