#0011 proofofblind || Fair or Unfair?

This original-content post is certified plagiarism-free* by the Proof of Blind team (see below for what that means).

Some people say life is fair while others say it is unfair. We all have different takes on this, who is right and who is wrong? I say, there's no right and wrong here, it's all about the perspective and what gives the right to the perspective is the situation and circumstances one is in and has been through. When things fall in place for us and life is all happy-go-gaga, we feel life is fair and everything is good. But when there are issues that cannot be easily resolved, we feel life is not fair and we are not getting our share of happiness. That's who it is. Life is not simple, it's not easy to survive. We won't even enjoy life as much if things are all smooth all the time. The smoothness would not feel that smooth if it's there always. Imagine if you love chocolates and you are drowned in a pool of chocolates for days, you would not love chocolates as much after that. A fair life might look bright and shining from a farther distance, but as you go near it, you will feel you want challenges to fight, you want struggles to happen, you want to sweat. If this doesn't happen, life would be monotonous. Happiness must be felt at stretches, like speed breakers. Every time there is one, there is a pump, a rush, and then it settles. Happiness gives us an adrenaline rush, a continuous adrenaline is not good for health. So this is a message for all those who feel luck is not favouring them or those who are going through a hard time - Life is full of ups and downs, enjoy the ups and bravely fight the downs. Nothing lasts forever, neither happiness nor grief.

*What does certified plagiarism-free mean?

As a result of our plagiarism review, we are confident that this post represents original unpublished creative work.

We are backing that confidence with a 150% curation-reward guarantee.

If you vote for this post and it is found to have been plagiarized (prior to the close of the voting period), we will coordinate efforts to zero out all presumed author rewards. However, that also zeros out all curator rewards. To protect our curators, we will fully reimburse any would-be curation rewards that were zeroed as a result of the plagiarism enforcement, and we will add 50% to it.

This guarantee applies to any curation rewards that would have been worth at least $1 at the time the payout would have occurred. For example, if your upvote was worth $2 in HIVE and $2 in POB, but was zeroed out due to plagiarism-enforcement, then we would reimburse you $1.50 worth of HIVE and $1.50 worth of POB.

What is Proof of Blind and how does it work?

Here is a quick overview:

  • Content creators submit their original content (following the procedure detailed at the end of the "Request for Submissions" post).

  • Submitted content is checked for plagiarism.

  • Plagiarism-free content is posted via the @proofofblind account* (typically within 24 hours after submission), with

    • the original author as 85% beneficiary,
    • the person who coordinated the plagiarism review and finalized the @proofofblind post as 10% beneficiary,
    • @proofofblind retaining 5%.

Thanks for you interest in the Proof of Blind project!

There is a lesson to be learned no matter the situation in which we find ourselves, but one must create a moment for reflection to determine what that lesson is. Sometimes it's gratitude that it's not worse, sometimes gratitude for being better than we imagined... food for thought...

Good article. I read something similar yesterday in another article by @erh.germany "a positive relationship of tension, insofar as people move in balance within this space of tension; between energy and rest". You can find it here if it interests you to take a look 😊There were some interesting deep discussions in the comments that perhaps you can relate to as well Invictus - WOTW (S4W4) contest !PIZZA
