eXode Game's High Value Passenger Challenge

Greetings, pilots! Today I took part in the HVP challenge in an attempt to get a high score on the game's new leaderboard. Don't worry, none of our crew or officers have HPV (human papillomavirus), so no need to worry about that. The only things we need to worry about are attacking aliens, a broken hyperdrive, no fuel, and hostile citizens.

The year is 2325. Aliens will begin attacking Earth soon, along with the space station Coriatus, which we will dock at. Before docking, though, we have about 270 seconds to review our crew Manifest.

This is a good time to get a head start so you know which orders to give straight away. As you can see here Sgt. Box Iro has a B in Mechanics (Good) and a C in Cybernetics and since he's not on leave, he will be going straight to upgrade that hyperdrive.

Anyone that has good scores in Manual/Dexterity goes to loading cargo. If their skill grade is decent they can usually do 1 cargo every 30 seconds or such. Those that also have good Cybernetics skill are put to loading fuel. As people are coming back from "On Leave" or the Infirmary (getting their HPV screening) I assign them where needed, such as escorting some HVP's.

When members get low on health, I send them to the cockpit because I figure it's safe in there. Also, they can take turns managing the shields. My game notifications don't seem to be working so I've just been launching whenever it feels right. On my last attempt I had 26 cargo loaded but the engine stalled and of course I was blown up before I could try again.

Hyperspeed to the other side of the universe!

This was my first score. I panic launched because, again, no notifications. My second attempt was much better.

I lost 1 crew member. Don't know how or when. So I would have had 150 more points. If I can count correctly, this puts me in 4th place if you don't count the duplicate captains' scores. Not bad for not knowing my ship's integrity, eh? Maybe I'll try again in a few days, once my alien anxiety goes back down again.
Until then, see you in hyperspace!

P.S.

If you still don't have a starter and want to play the game and take part in the contest, feel free to use my referral link.
If you do, we each get 2 booster packs and we will start nearer to each other. Hope this sounds interesting to you!
