Greetings, pilots!
Another cycle has come and gone and of course I'm late, yet again!! Hm, this is exactly how the last article started. No, this is not déjà vu nor are we stuck in a time loop. Time sure feels like it's been reduced to a crawl at times though!

All the artwork we have seen is very well done and mesmerizing, but this is one of my favorites so far.
Much work is currently being done on what will become core features. A work-in-progress screen was leaked revealing some citizen UI.
Each character will have their own personality, actions, log, top skills and roles, stats, and.... Rewards! We will be able to see cards' legacy rewards requirements and progress! This is exciting because every card will have its own droptable for legacy rewards! I cant wait to potentially win some more (new) Scientific content! I'll be putting my scientists to work!

I have several crew members but not much weapons or defensive equipment which probably will be problematic in some future, so i can say that those two things are my favorites ATM

Any one in particular? I for one admire the Defensive Bunker but also wish it was upgradeable to reduce energy costs and increase habitat. I think it would go great with a military deck.
Rekatron Judgment day, would be my favorite but due that is epic, Rekatron Firetalker will work too. Sadly the common defensive equipment dont see good at all, i mean, Universal Fixer Suit and Lonestar Research Suit seems good because of them habilities but don't give much defense stats like military and scientific suits...
All good choices. Maybe in beta there will be a suit contract that will provide new options or ways to modify existing suits!
After looking at cards more closely than I ever have, I believe my current favorite is Captain Cranium. There are a few reasons for this choice. First the art and name are awfully cool. I would have liked it better if he were actually an evil genius, but apparently he's not academically inclined. Next up is the integrated armor and weapons. Who needs equipment when you're legendary, right? And that stuff sounds mighty useful in the game so far. Finally is the idea that he makes whatever origin he is attached to criminal. I imagine the new colony becoming the center of a new underworld. Crazy, but fun to try.

Captain Cranium is an interesting card, indeed, though it's one that I often overlook. Did you know he's named after a Hiver? Deck building with that card should be interesting to say the least. I'm not sure how I feel about him turning my crew into only criminals. Maybe his other traits make it worth it but, at a glance, I'm not too fond of him. Haven't really theory crafted with that card in a deck yet.

I think it's really interesting where the game might go. He does but you on the ground floor of the criminal syndicate thing... if that has any appeal.

Nice artwork, I like strong women with this kind of hairstyles 😜. Superficial, but hey, we're going for favourites, not the best.
A legendary card with Quality Level 10, that means good stats.
Awareness, Station, Toughness, Shooting and Cover makes the Evacuation easy too, and she comes with weapons and armor already equipped.
Of course, until I own her (of if someone generously decides to gift me one), that's all she'll be. A favourite card based mostly on her artwork.
The card art is pretty great. Cards like these (or let's be honest, ALL cards) make me want to see the full artwork. I hope you manage to acquire one of these!

Being an inorganic lifeform, I am drawn to some of the other entities like myself. Little Buddy has always been one of my favorites. It is so versatile! It can explore, attack, sneak, and possibly do some light resource gathering! Also, certain ships I like. These being the Myrmidon and Orwell 1. These choices are purely aesthetic. My apologies; I could not choose just a single card as my favorite.
I probably would have given a similar multi answer as well. There's just too many good cards that I also like, for different reasons. I like the Myrmidon because of the Durasteel-like armor it appears to have like the Corellian ships of Star Wars.
