How my life has changed in the last 20 years

Two last decades is a very long time, and a whole lots has happened to my life in terms of positive development.

Certainly, between now and the last 20 years, my life has changed drastically.

I remember when I was young, even though I was carefree, I had a lot aspirations. Some of which have been met and some, still being working towards.
The kind of change I'm talking about is basically that of my career, I had a big career aspiration.

Though, shortly before my last 20 years, i was confused of what I actually wanted in my life, but the sight of someone I knew in my area, actually gave me a clue of the decision I made.

He was a bank manager using one of the latest cars as at then, he was someone I respected and envied so much. He was my role model. It was that I chose my career path.

And since then I have been working towards a great academic career because I knew if I'm successful with that, I will be successful in other areas of life.

These actually defined my personality, and likewise helped me understand the kind of people I needed to get involved with and with these, gradually I started developing in so many ways, like in the areas of having a deeper understanding of myself, values, and the right things that matters in my life.

I was able to graduate from the university conveniently with a good profession, and have people of like minds around me.

Likewise my NYSC days, which exposed me to another phase of life and brought me a whole new level of development. I started thinking of something deeper than what I use to think, my perceptions about life changed and i was ready to go into the world and explore, because then was a prelude of the begining of my life.

When I was out looking for job after my NYSC, I had another life changing experience. It was and still hell finding a job in my country. I had to think of other means to survive which opened my eyes to more than one vocation. And fortunately I was still able to get a government job not too long after. And since then I have been doing very well. My life has grown from that of a boy to that of a man.

Myself last 20 years was a clueless and carefree person, now turned to someone with lots of achievements and still many hope to soar higher.

Now I'm grown up, have a good job, a wife and family, and living alot better than my last 20 years.
