Tonight, I decided to take a different route and headed toward the road that skirts the mountains of my city. It is a place where the vegetation feels very close and the silence is absolute—something I was seeking to clear my head a little. Despite it being night, the streetlights provided just enough illumination to highlight the contours of the trees and the curve of the road, but the place was completely empty; I didn't cross paths with a single soul the entire way.
At some points, I stopped to observe the city. It could be seen in the distance, shining like a small cluster of stars under the darkness. It was an incredible contrast: the total peace of the mountain versus the bustle that, from that distance, seemed almost unreal. I took the opportunity to take some shots, playing with the lights of the road and that infinite background of the city. Being there, in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by nature, gave me a sense of tranquility I hadn't experienced in days. Sometimes, getting away from everything is the only way to find yourself again.

Esta noche decidí tomar una ruta distinta y me fui hacia la carretera que bordea las montañas de mi ciudad. Es un lugar donde la vegetación se siente muy cerca y el silencio es absoluto, algo que buscaba para despejarme un poco. A pesar de ser de noche, el alumbrado público iluminaba lo suficiente como para resaltar los contornos de los árboles y la curva del camino, pero el lugar estaba completamente solo; no me crucé con un alma en todo el trayecto.
En algunos puntos, me detuve para observar la ciudad; se alcanzaba a apreciar a lo lejos, brillando como un pequeño conjunto de estrellas bajo la oscuridad. Fue un contraste increíble: la paz total de la montaña frente al bullicio que, desde esa distancia, parecía casi irreal.
