Running Uphill for Extra Work

Running Uphill for Extra Work
Hello everyone. A few weeks ago, some friends and I found ourselves bored after finishing our scheduled workouts for the week. Instead of just calling it a day, we decided to head back up Cerro El Vigía to do something different. We jogged through the first section, throwing in push-up and lunges challenges along the way, before walking the final stretch to the top. Trust me when I say that simply walking that last incline is a heavy workout on its own.

I took advantage of the stop to snap a few photos of the city landscape and parts of the trail we covered. This spot never disappoints when it comes to the scenery. Getting to look at the city from above—taking in the streets, the sky, and the sea—is always a solid reward that makes all the exhaustion along the way completely worth it. Here are some of the shots I took in my way to the top.

Without anything more to add, I bid farewell. Stay tuned for future posts! Until next time!
