They say that a coffee in the morning can reboot your life. I would also say that a coffee in the morning makes me want to get out of bed and live my day. It makes me think that if the day started with a coffee, then there's no way it didn't start well.

I think a good coffee and time could cure even a lovesickness 🤭, don't you think? That's how good he is.

My mom raised us drinking coffee in the morning with breakfast. It's one of those things you couldn't miss at home. Just like the sweet aroma that permeated every room and subtly said it was time to get up for school.

Coffee time is one of those hours I look forward to. As if the mind is preparing for that morning surprise. And I say surprise because every cup every day I enjoy it as if I were drinking it for the first time. Bitter and sweet at the same time 🥰

This time one of my dear friends gave me some delicious cookies. They were crunchy as I like them and with a perfect touch of sugar, not too sweet and not too simple. In addition, I add chocolate chips that for my taste give them a delicious touch.

Likewise, my mother-in-law has made me prepare a coconut and panela cake called beso de coco (coconut kiss). She brought me some ingredients and I put others, put it all together and baked it. It turned out fluffy and soft.

This morning I wanted to try them both with my coffee. I couldn't help but take these pictures to remember how blessed I have been these days. Behind a good cup of coffee and some sweets, there is love from friends and the good news that everything is going well. 💜

Dicen que un café por la mañana puede reiniciarte la vida. Yo diría, además, que un café por la mañana me hace querer levantarme de la cama y vivir mi día. Me hace pensar que si el día ha empezado con un café, pues no hay forma de que no haya comenzado bien.

Creo que un buen café y el tiempo podrían curar hasta un mal de amor 🤭, ¿No crees? Así de bueno es él.

Mi mamá nos crió tomando café en la mañana con el desayuno. Es de esas cosas que no podían faltar en casa. Igualmente que el dulce aroma que impregnaba cada habitación y decía sutilmente que era hora de levantarse para ir al colegio.

La hora de tomar café es de esas horas que espero con anhelo. Como si la mente se prepara para esa sorpresa de la mañana. Y digo sorpresa porque cada taza de cada día lo disfruto como que estuviera tomándolo por primera vez. Amargo y dulce al mismo tiempo 🥰

Esta vez una de mis queridas amigas me ha regalado unas deliciosas galletas. Le han quedado crujientes como me gusta y con un toque perfecto de azúcar, ni muy dulces ni muy simples. Además, le agrego chispas de chocolate que para mi gusto le dan un toque delicioso.

De igual forma mi suegra me ha hecho prepararle una torta de coco y panela llamada beso de coco. Me trajo algunos ingredientes y yo puse otros, junté todo y lo cociné. Quedó esponjoso y suave.

Esta mañana he querido probar ambos acompañado de mi cafecito. No podía dejar de tomarles estas foticos para recordar lo bendecida que he sido estos días. Detrás de una buena taza de café y unos dulcitos, hay cariño de amigos y las buenas noticias de que todo va bien. 💜
