Market Visit Routine Started Again

avatar

It's time to resume the routine of going to the market early morning again. After long holidays: new year and end of semester school holiday we have stopped making bun cakes to sell in the market. The holiday is over. My wife started making cakes again to sell in the morning market.

The road where the market was located was wet. There was a heavy rain an hour earlier. But it did not seem to bother all the vendors. They kept offerings their merchandise by the road. We went to the cake vendor. The cake vendor had already set up her table to sell various cakes. My wife gave the vendor to sell. Later, by 10 we would check if the cakes would be sold out or not.

Okay, that's done. Then we walked along the roads where many vendors sold various items ranging from vegetables, spices, chicken meat, flowers, and ready cook food.

There was vendor who sold ready cooked meal or side dishes wrapped in plastics. We bought few of soup wrapped in plastic, shredded chicken, fried tofu, and mixed vegetables. Everything wrapped in plastics.

The reason we only bought ready made dish today was because my wife would not be cooking because she would help in a religious festival in one of my auntie's house. So, she was quite busy today, hence no cooking.

As we made our way to exit the market, we bought few other things like instant milk and coffee, prawn crackers and few other things.

And that concluded our grandeur adventure in the morning market. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you for the submission the Market is interesting. I sent you the guidelines for the challenge.

Thank you, again!

I find it interesting to compare, not by the world's standards, but, by how we find the quality of our life with different indicators than the world does. It is not always about the wealth in money, sometimes money means very little when there is no value behind it. You cannot buy health although you can take care of what you have. Being educated isn't always about schooling, but acquiring knowledge and using it for the better good and happiness of the society you are living in. It is with great pleasure that I read through this and all of the posts, with these thoughts in mind.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service. It can be a movie, an auction, or even a museum. Wherever money is exchanged for a service or product.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? Was it expensive? Did it go up or down? A scroll of pictures with few words doesn't usually work.
  3. Post the pictures. Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post, it is too difficult to guess about some.
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post (#hive-196308) This is not required but appreciated.
PLEASE Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it!!
  5. Following me and reblogging the post would be appreciated, but not a rule, more vision for more views on the #MarketFriday posts!
    7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
