30 Day Declutter Challenge : Day 19

Do you have a favorite character like Sponge Bob? Do you buy stuff related to that character? I used to buy anything with Sponge Bob on it like this pencil case. I know I do not use and need one but still I bought it.

Welcome to the 30 Day Declutter Challenge. This challenge will help you get started with that long and overdue goal of yours to minimize your material possessions or clutter sitting around your house or place of work. There could be some setbacks or hesitations just thinking about it but with this challenge I am sure that anyone can accomplish that goal.

So, how do we start? Simple. Get rid of one item on day 1, then two items on day 2 and 3 items on day 3 and so on until you are done with all the days of a given month. It is a fun and encouraging idea but by now you could be wondering on how difficult it would be when you reach day 20...hmmm hope you will carry on and commit.

Day 19

Buying two of the same item is still obvious here on this photo. Instead of feeling the pressure of letting go I am now feeling guilty of buying too much. You can only realize how much stuff you got when you put them all in one place very similar to that TV show about decluttering that I often watch whenever I feel the need to buy. People tend to buy the same stuff that they already have because they misplaced it somewhere and did not have the time or patience to look around. Maybe the house needs a little organization and order so you can find the things you need easily. How about you? Can you tell what you have inside your cupboards?
