30 Day Declutter Challenge : Day 26

avatar

I find random things like these everywhere in the house. You might have noticed there are similar items that I had already posted on my previous blogs. I grab whatever I can on a given day and start on the surface first. Before I can dig deeper, the number is already filled for a given declutter day. That explains why most of my finds are these old, small and unwanted rubbish.

Welcome to the 30 Day Declutter Challenge. This challenge will help you get started with that long and overdue goal of yours to minimize your material possessions or clutter sitting around your house or place of work. There could be some setbacks or hesitations just thinking about it but with this challenge I am sure that anyone can accomplish that goal.

So, how do we start? Simple. Get rid of one item on day 1, then two items on day 2 and 3 items on day 3 and so on until you are done with all the days of a given month. It is a fun and encouraging idea but by now you could be wondering on how difficult it would be when you reach day 20...hmmm hope you will carry on and commit.

Nostalgia is fine sometimes but if it is the clutter that brings it then we have a problem. These two cellphones are the earliest that I can remember. They bring a lot of fond memories, I wish that I could keep them for nostalgia's sake but no. My kids are about 3 and 4 when they had these glow in the dark ducks that they stick on the walls so they can see them at night before bed which is good back then. Now these are all part of the clutter and source of my stress.

If you feel like doing this challenge, go ahead and make a post about it and let your friends know so they too may be encouraged to do it.
