The good old days where friendship was still friendship, the time where bond matters than money and fame, the time where love and bond is cherished compared to wealth and material things..

Can we get such type of friendship in this modern age and time???
Do we still have trustworthy person to call friends, is there someone in our lives who is strongly worthy of being called a friend???

I believe in that category of life, the answer to these questions is buried deep within us and that is why some friendship sinks and some friendship sails and exist for years to come..

I have seen and met a lot of people that always beat themselves up when their relationship with their best friends is on the verge of breaking up even they are obviously not at fault in the issue...

They hold themselves responsible for it and try every means possible to reconcile, don't forget that the fault might not be from you but from your so called friend but because you value that friendship more than your friend is the reason why you always want to apologize every time a fight or quarrels comes up...

Well well well nobody is perfect and that is one things I have come to understand for years now, as we all know we have different kinds of people in this world, the softie and the hard ones...

Most of the time the softie are the ones who mostly end up apologizing to a friend in a fight that wasn't their fault but because they want love to exist and because they don't have the heart to hold grudges they always go to apologize which is something divine and spectacular...

The hard ones are the ones who tend to stand firm and determined on not apologizing to a friend first in a fight unless he or she comes to say sorry first and then everything gets settled...

I have experienced this scenarios before in my life and that is why I am writing based on my encounter and experience with friends...

Don't get me wrong guys, everyone is different and it might be different in your own case or you might have a contradictory opinion to my claim but this is strictly by my observation and experience...

friendship is supposed to be sweet, sour, saucy, cute and funny, it should be lovely but never take a bully as a friend and always stand for your right when it comes to friendship and don't let anyone play you because of that tittle...

I was once the softie type in a friendship but I was taught to be strong when it comes to friendship because there are some type of friends who never leave any opportunity out to ride or ridicule you and I was a victim but I taught myself to be strong and to never be broken again when it comes to friendship heart break...

Now I control myself and I choose whoever I want to be friends with, if we don't click we go our separate ways and if we do, I will make sure I do everything in my power to make our bond stronger and I will never take our friendship for granted only when I see you are doing the best also to make it work...

If there is no contribution from the other party in a friendship, it becomes a one sided relationship and it becomes a burden rather than friendship...

I was softie in a relationship that I cry sometimes when my friends hurt me lol 🤣🤣 but I was taught to be strong Lol and now I cry no more when it comes to friendship...

I live by the rule what will be will be and I have been holding onto that quote for years...

There is something I strongly believe in when it comes to Ex's and that is something most people don't find spectacular but I find it as such and what is that thing....

Why is it that when someone becomes your ex, it automatically means your relationship before the break up is over, even if it was friendship before dating, everything you have both before and now ends till the extent that you guys totally become a stranger to each other...

I am talking about the relationship aspect of EX, breaking up doesn't mean ending all existing ties, it means that you guys are not working as a couple and it is inconveniencing your friendship in all manner and to make it ordinary, break up comes in but instead of you guys to become friends and check on one another later on, you just end everything and that is the end...

To me I don't agree with that mentality, I believe we can still be friends even if we don't end up as couple, then it will probably work as friends and then we find the right person later on...

My point is that when we refer to someone as our ex, it shouldn't be the end of all relation with that person, you can still be friends and besties without having any issues...

Let's talk on friendship ex, well I think when you consider a friend ex, it means you guys are no longer friends neither are you enemies as a result of some issues between the two of you that can't be settled and the best solution was to end everything and go your separate ways to avoid malice and bad blood...

This case is different entirely so your approach should be something that doesn't harm anybody but it is better for both party in all ways...

    CAN I REKINDLE THE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN AN EX FRIEND AND I???

Hmmm in this modern age and time, I have wise up and there no more you taking me for a fool, if I try to befriend you for different reasons and I see you are not deserving of me, I will walk away from you because I don't want to be pushy about becoming your friend and in that case you start carrying yourself as the saviour of the world....

Hell no, I don't beg for friends because I realised what my friends can give me, I can find in other friends that accepts me and we respect each other...

Well for me to call a friend an ex it means there must have been some hot 🔥 issue or a very tense cases between that person and I that it made me refer him or her as my ex...

Left to me I will be always open and willing to accept any friend that has become my ex but everything will never be the same, if I am at fault as a friend and it lead to the breakup, I will try my possible best to reconcile immediately because I can't live with the guilt of that and it is now left to the person to either forgive or not and if that is the end then we end it there but I will forever see the person as my friend...

In a case where I was wronged, the highest I will do is to let go of such person and move on with my life but if I feel he or she is remorseful, I will be open to accept such person back and we will move on but I will be watchful always...

Answering the question, I can and will accept an ex friend who is remorseful and has apologised for what he or she did wrong and I feel he or she is deeply sorry, I will forgive and forget and then we move on...

To err is human and to forgive is divine and if it's a reversal case then the person is left to make the best decision but I will never stop trying to reconcile with such person because I know I am wrong and I need to seek forgiveness..

In conclusion, we only live once and keeping grudges tends to shorten ones life span, that is my own theory and that means we need to keep peace with whoever and whatever is around us at all times because time is short and we don't know what lies for us in the future...
