LÍSÀBÍ: THE UPRISING…

(Edited)

I woke up very early this morning thinking about what to write for the day, I tried playing my favorite dream league soccer game to share my gameplay experience with you all but then it wasn’t working, i tried so hard but then something just wasn’t adding up, everything felt so off and incomplete. I realized i wasn’t feeling too motivated and inspired in that aspect so i completely ditched that idea…

I have scoured the whole of hive trying to find that perfect topic that fits my inspiration and motivation this morning, it’s been over thirty minutes now and I haven’t found that topic yet. Just as i was about to postpone this post for later, i got struck by a post idea, and that idea came up as a result of another Yoruba nollywood blockbuster i saw yesterday. The movie is titled LÍSÀBÍ, an hour forty seven minutes long YORUBA MOVIE

LÍSÀBÍ

When i saw Lateef Adedimeji and his wife Adebimpe Oyebade Adedimeji advertising this movie on their personal instagram page, i knew there was something interesting about it, the two of them promoted this movie in different ways, and because of their beautiful history of staring and producing great blockbuster movies i decided to add it to my to-watch movie list when it gets released…

LÍSÀBÍ was released sometime ago and was finally added to Netflix earlier this week, I might have forgotten about it if netflix didn’t bring it up to my attention two days ago. I saw the movie on Netflix and it was telling me indirectly to watch it, i read the plot and saw the list of yoruba nollywood stars it featured, i became more convinced after seeing that and added it to my watchlist…

If only i had known about how the movie was going to end, I’d probably have just postponed it to next year when the part 2 would be released. oh yes you heard me right, the part 2…

LÍSÀBÍ is an historical movie, and the fact that it was added to Netflix means the production and movie itself is worth it. Over the years a lot of Yoruba nollywood movie has made their way on Netflix, some of those movies made fortunes while some was just a waste of time and funds, especially KESARI, adding this particular movie to Netflix was a big mistake, thank God I never saw it, i just heard reviews of it from people…

LÍSÀBÍ is actually different from every other dead Yoruba movie added to Netflix, i saw the movie yesterday and from what i saw in that movie, the producers of that movie outdid their best, it was a groundbreaking film, the only issue i had with the movie is the concluding part that would be released next year January, these people are scams lol, they made the movie so great that decided to break it into parts just to get us curious for a part 2. The things we do to make money 😂, well I know the second part won’t fail me because the first part was AWESOME

LÍSÀBÍ was quite unpredictable, I never saw those 4 gods of the earth coming at the end part, i also didn’t know LÍSÀBÍ was that powerful, he literally built his armies of warriors and decided to take back their freedom from the hands of OYO and its tribute collectors

LÍSÀBÍ is a blockbuster, i got everything i was expecting from the movie, there was nothing short in the movie and I must confess to the fact that it deserved to be on Netflix. Lateef Adedimeji and his crew really went out of their way to get this movie done flawlessly…

In conclusion, this is another great movie produced by another great actor, I enjoyed it immensely, it gave me that JAGUNJAGUN vibe and I really enjoyed every bit of the movie, the best 1 hour 47 minutes of my time, if you haven’t seen LÍSÀBÍ, you are missing out, so go and watch it now on Netflix…

NB, the above screenshots were taken from the netflix app…

           THANKS FOR READING…
