The dream is that no matter the occupation I want to go into in life or whatever course I want to study, it must be something profitable to a lot of people...
it must be an occupation that is beneficial to the society and the world at large and currently I am walking in that line of dream and I know sooner or later I will get there and I will be able to achieve that aim...
In the world we are today, if you the observant type, you will realize the rate at which patients with psychological problems are increasing is quite alarming and even with all the measures taken, people don't quit it easily and it takes extra measures for them to be controlled....
I realized that at an early stage, and whenever I see patients that suffers from psychological Challenges it pains me that we have few people in that field that want to help them get better and that has made me focus on this particular course of mine which is determined to help people who suffers from physical, emotional, mental and psychological Challenges...
I have made up my mind to join the MEDICAL FIELD, yeah because the rate at which patients are increasing in the world is very large and we need more experienced people in that field, that field is one of the hardest course in the higher institution but with hard work and dedication it isn't impossible 💪💪...

WHAT DO I PLAN TO STUDY????
Ever since I realized the large number of patients with psychological Challenges I have taken a dream of joining the medical field and what course in particular??
The course in the medical field is known as "MEDICAL REHABILITATION"...
WHAT IS MEDICAL REHABILITATION??
Medical rehabilitation is the process targeted to promote and facilitate the recovery from physical damage, psychological and mental disorders, and clinical disease

This course is also known as psychiatry, yeah that Same psychiatry you just thought of, the one that treats the patients suffering from brain issues and many more..
Medical courses are one of the hardest course in the higher institution, it is hard because it deals with the human well being and to be a genius in that field you have to give it your all..
That is one of the reasons why we have less people in that field because it is competitive and not for everyone but for the best amongst the best...
Medical rehabilitation centers on the treatment of patients that suffers from psychological, mental, and emotional health Challenges and therefore Increasing the rate of recovery and giving a second chance at living well...
WHY AND HOW IS MEDICAL REHABILITATION USEFUL IN LIFE AND TO THE SOCIETY AT LARGE???
WHY IS MEDICAL REHABILITATION IMPORTANT IN LIFE???
As we all know the rate at which teens and adults are suffering from brain issues is quite alarming and it is either as a result of smoking or taking drugs...
The excessive taking of hard substances and smoking has been one of the main causes of this health Challenges, they can't be treated by ordinary humans because they are now too far gone to be controlled by the word of the mouth...
The rate of lunacy in young adults is high, Including addiction, addiction doesn't start in a day, it starts when there is continuous intake of a particular substance and as time goes on without it will make living impossible Which tend to result to lunacy and violent attitude....
Can this cases be treated by family members or friends???
No! It can't and that is when the medical practitioner comes in handy, they are the ones who can stop the addiction and nurse them back to health...
They have gone through the study of how patients that suffers from addiction and also with psychological and mental Challenges can be treated without harming them....
This course is very important in life because without practitioners in this Field, addicted patients and mentally derailed persons will never be healthy and safe, they are the only ones who knows what to do and how to do them that will make them recover gradually and in no time back to health...
Medical practitioners are very important in this life as long as youths, adults and teens are alive and there is smoking and drugs around for them, even without drugs and smoking, addiction to one thing or the other can't be stopped and it is only someone who is a genius in that study that can treat them and nurse them back to health without them harming or hurting themselves in it absence...
HOW CAN MEDICAL REHABILITATION BE USEFUL TO THE SOCIETY??
This field of study will be very useful to the society because they will always be awesomeness made to the young boy and girls on the causes and effects of engaging in hard substances and smoking and it will he reduced....
In every location, we have addicted smokers and drugs dealers in every nook and cranny of the society, this people will always be around to see to their health and wellness...
There will be control of erratic behavior of mentally challenged patients, there will be different treatment available for them to help them recover fully without harm and hurt...
Parents and families will be at ease while their sons or daughters will be in good hands and we'll taken care of and nursed back to health...
As long as there is smoker's and drinkers, the medical field will remain useful and important to help reduce addition and psychological Challenges....
That is to say the medical practitioners will always be one of the most important people in the world and being among such people is my goal and plus one is very good way to start it...
In summary, becoming a degree holder in studying this course is my dream and I am working towards achieving it and in some years, I will be in white gown treating and nursing back patients to health...
In conclusion, working in the medical field is always a good decision because, lives will be saved by you and that is a great feeling of responsibilities and importance.....

Never knew psychiatry can also be referred to as Medical rehabilitation. I've learnt something new today.
The importance of mental health in general is downplayed in Nigeria, and that is why we have quite a number of suicide cases every year.
It's very nice you're trying to go into the field in order to make a change.
One thing that is also very important is the fact that there's a need to make sensitive people on the importance of mental health and debunk some myths surrounding the topic.

Med Rehab is a nice course. As a matter of fact, this was the first course I wanted until I discovered that it has to do with mental health, I ran away with the speed of light before those guys at psychiatric will cut my head🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

My brother's case is also being handled by a psychiatrist. Studying a whole human and his brain is not a small matter.
Some people do not seek treatment from a psychiatrist because they think people will call them mental. But I think after God, psychiatrist is the last resort who can help depressed and mentally disturbed people.💕

In all my travails through medical school, psychiatry is the one posting I actually enjoyed. That and ENT surgery rotation posting.
I believe there's a lot of good to be done in the area of psychiatry. I have particularly developed interest into researching music therapy for psychiatric conditions.
