MY MOTHER MY REAL LIFE SUPER WOMAN!!!!!

There is always this divine strength from that comes from no where when it comes to life of children, mothers are always at full vigor when it comes to the life of their children and even if i didn't witness this incident, she told all about it and that is how i got the conclusion of my everytime HERO!!!

My everytime hero, my superwoman, my brave warrior, my courage, guess who my real life hero is????
It is my "MOTHER", before i was born, my mother told me how life was hard for her and how she almost lost my siblings due to a terrible incident and how she got the power to run and that was how i was able to see my elder ones..

The story i am about to share now is my mother's story but it is how i concluded that she is my real life hero because she didn't give up and fought for life and safety and that has made her my hero, even there are somethings she has done that has made my alive today ll because of her and her love for me...

She doesn't wear a cape but will forever remain my HERO and i will never forget her deed ...

            MY MOTHER MY HERO!!!!

Booooommm!!!!, it was the sound of a blast that shaked the whole city and in minutes everyone was running for their survival and world became a jungle where everyone has to run helter- skelter for his or her life, so ran towards the blast, some towards the canal and others away from the blast.....

It all happened in year 2002, january to be precise, my mother woke up to start the day and to fend for both her's and siblings survival, she went to shop to work, she was an hairdresser then and that was her source of income ...

She started her day by working throughout the whole day with my brother brother on her back working and after a while she was tired and decided to drop him to play around where she was working, then she was using a shade as her work space and after a while everything changed for the worst...

While plaiting her customer's hair, there was a bomb blast that shake the earth, it happen around lagos, ikeja to be precise, upon hearing the blast and smoke everywhere, there was continuous blast that led to everybody running helter skelter, she was close to where the blast took place and everyone started running for their lives...

My mother who doesn't know where the blast was coming coming from carried my elder brother and started running barefooted, she couldn't think of anything other than her child, my dad traveled far, my elder sister was at ibadan at that time and i was not birthed then, it was her and my brother..

She started running while throwing my brother at her back with blast everywhere, she could hardly see, running for survival, she met a mother who was hit by a car and her child on the ground same age as my elder brother then(2 years old), she thought of leaving her behind but the baby stopped her and she helped the woman up and she carried her child at the expense of hers and my brother's life, they were both running until they departed, it was only her running , some were running towards the blast while others were running towards the canal to hide but my mum kept on running with my brother with explosion everywhere...

My mother was running towards the airport at ikeja, and she eventually found a car going towards her location, she didn't know where the car was heading to, it was a matter of life and death, the funny moment she said she flew into the car through the window of the car, she was with my brother on her back, but she found herself inside the car and guess what the driver said???

He asked her to get down from the car and she pleaded with him and eventually he allowed her to join the other passengers and said my mother was the one that did not allow him to carry a beautiful woman and that was how they all laughed it off..

Eventually everyone got down at their different destination but my mother's house was far and the driver was going towards another direction so she had to get down and God helped her, she located her friends house from there and hid there until was okay and that was my mother and brother escaped death...

She told me of the countless lives that was lost in the blast and hw everywhere was filled with blood but she was saved....

That is the short story of my SUPERWOMAN SAVING THE DAY....
she helped another being at the expense of her life and that was heroic of her and she is a living testimony today.......

After telling me about this i was happy and i remembered when my mother gave her friend my school fees on hearing about her son's sickness and before 12pm that day, she got a credit alert from an unknown sender times 4.....

In conclusion, my mother is my real life hero, it was after some years they got to know that the blast was from the armoury explosion , it was an accidental explosion of military explosives which took lives of many that day and it was grace that saved my mother and brother, i just keep on imagining if my sister was with her, how would she have survived....
