NETWORK OUTAGE + POWER OUTAGE = DEATH SENTENCE…

Phew 🥲, it’s been months since I last experienced both power issues and network issues at the same time, just so you know it, these two ishs are one of the two things I hate most about this country, not until some days ago when we all were struck by a very bad news…

This news brought so many people to anger and frustration as it was unbearable and unbelievable, the news stated that; due to a network cable breakage under water, there will be network issues for a while and it is being worked on A.T.M but it might take quite a while for it to get totally fixed, this news stormed the whole country but what struck me after this news was more than a storm, it was more of a mixture of LIGHTENING, THUNDER AND STORM, you wanna know why?, let’s dive right into the details in the next few paragraphs;…

Due to an unforeseen circumstance, i have been forced into bed rest for about three weeks straight up, which means no strenuous activities for the next couple of months to avoid any setbacks in my recovery, i had no other choice than to stay in bed before finally getting discharged 8 days after being admitted into the hospital, after getting discharged I realized traveling home would lead to some serious setbacks in my recovery, so i had to stay with an acquaintance nearby but there are some heavy sacrifice to be made…

Staying in that location means i have to deal with NO LIGHT, NO NETWORK & NO FRIENDS, this was a lot but it was a worthy sacrifice to pay for a full recovery…

I had to take a break from classes, which means i have been off tutorial for more than three weeks now and my examination is fast approaching, I barely have 35 days left to prepare for this examination…

In no time i moved in with my big mummy and since then it’s been light issues upon light issues, I found a way to deal with that and right after that I started facing network difficulties which caused me to be unable to access my hive account for a while, and most importantly i was asked to rest well for a quick recovery…

I had to rack my brain to find a way to solve the network issue so that i will be able to do one or two things on my phone while I recuperate at home, network issues were solved after getting an AIRTEL SIM CARD, things started looking great for a few days and then the boys in this neighborhood messed up with the wrong people; THE IKEDC OFFICIALS, this came with a hefty price to pay, as a result of their non-challant attitude, their power fuse over here was disconnected until further notice…

At this point living became very hard, there was heat stroke everywhere, recovery wasn’t going well, there was no light neither was there stable network. This was what i was dealing with and was trying to figure out a way to get my power bank fixed to reduce the indirect death sentence that was given to us in this neighborhood…

I finally got my power bank fixed at a crazy rate and still didn’t get the best service, it was better than before at least, right as i was about to get settled in with my newly fixed power bank, the mass network issue struck me again and this time i gave up completely and was completely stranded and out of options…

For days accessing hive and other apps was close to impossible, all other social media platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp were working fine, @burlarj was not even able to brawl not to talk more of making a post for some days. This became a big problem, all these lasted for a while and it was fixed…

In summary, the cut cable under water that lead to the whole network outage was eventually fixed and everything was restored back to its original state…

In conclusion, the peace of the whole country was restored when the network issue was fixed, what would we have done without network and power, this is just like a death sentence to many people, i am happy everything got resolved and we are all good to go. But guess what guys, the light issue over here has not been fixed and I still have a long way to go lol 😂…

I wonder how i am gonna cope without light in this area 😞😞😞…
