The journey of relationships has taken a new dimension over the years, will i say different dimension, i will say relationship nowadays has EVOLVED beyond our human expectations because we can see how everything is turning out .....

A big thanks to @hive-learners for the beautiful topic this week, it has made me to do some diggings on how relationships are in the past compared to nowadays and if there is positive or negative impact on relationships due to the existence of social media platforms....

   SOCIAL MEDIA AS A LIFE SAVER TO RELATIONSHIPS..

Since the existence of social media, there have great improvement in the lives of many both in communication and relationships, majority of the world's population has evolved positively due to the existence of social media while the minority are finding faults in it..

Social media has given voice to the people who don't have the courage to speak up, it hasn't done more bad than good, it has done vice versa and that means it has contributed positively to relationships....

Years ago, relationships are seen and done in an ancient style, it is supposed to be good but after hearing how relationships back then are from my parents, i realized how boring, stressful and ancient relationships are years ago and if i was left to choose between the MODERN OR ANCIENT style, i will rather go for the modern relationships which is considered the 21st year relationship...

My mum told me that during her time, the male's parents will go to the house of the parents of any girl they like and see good woman qualities in and they will talk to her family regarding their union and if it is accepted then the male is going to travel to the girl's house to see his wife to be and then the girl will be shy to see her husband to be and then she eventually comes out to see him and if all goes well, then the alliance is fixed...

Yuck, is this not so boring to you???? there is no joy coming from this kinds of relationship, there is no modernity in their love story and that is because there is no social media for them to meet and get to know each other better and also give them the chance to fall in love continuously with one another..

Below are the reasons why i am standing on the fact that social media has done more good than bad in relationships:

        ENLIGHTENMENT  ON HOW TO MAINTAIN A STRONG BOND

Throughout the years, relationship are seen as something that has to be visual before there can be mutual feelings developed, first they have to get to know each other very well before taking any further steps..

There are a lot of cases where relationships has fallen and shattered greatly all because of different shortcomings from partners, social media has taken it into their hands to create a great community where ladies/women all over the world are welcomed, taught and enlightened on how to maintain the bonds of relationships and on how to improve the continuity of their love and explain to them on how to take certain and crucial decisions regarding their relationship....

All the lessons will be given to the young ones in relationships by those who have much more experience on dealing with relationships and how to make it healthy for the upcomers...

        VOICE TO THE VOICELESS...

Relationships has failed many people, the experience most people have gotten from relationships are heartbreaks and assault from their partners...

Women have lost there voice the fight for their rights and stand up for themselves, they have lost the courage to speak up because there is no support from the public and community will only find them at fault and they will be criticized and condemned...

Social media has exposed men who are involved in such to the world, they fight for the rights of their fellow women, social media exposes and made them known to the world so that there can be other people in the world who would come out from every nook and cranny of their locations to raise their voice against such acts..
Social media stands as their support system by giving them the voice to fight and expose them...

    STRONGER BOND ARE BIRTHED...

Social media has shown a lot to the world, the mistakes that are considered petty in relationships are the ones that destroys the bond of partners in relationships...

Social media has taken it upon themselves to list and highlight the causes of what reduces the bond between partners, this knowledge comes for free and at no cost..

When people read about them, they get experience and more knowledge on how to make the bond between their partners stronger and the do's and don't of a creating a healthy bond in a relationship..

There is always a place to learn from the mistakes of others ans social media has given the accounts of failed relationships and the reasons why it failed and crumbled...

People share their bitter and sweet version and experience of their relationship turned out so that others can one or two things from them and make sure they get knowledge from them..

In summary, social media has been an important figure in the journey of lots of relationship now a days and it has contributed greatly and also promoted it into creating a stronger bond between couples..

In conclusion, i have also learnt a lot from the social media on how to maintain a healthy relationship and form a stronger bond between partners...with this few points, i hope i have been able to convince you that social media has done more good to relationships than bad...
