TASSA'S LEGACY LIVED ON ⚡⚡⚡🐶🐶🐶

avatar

It's time to travel back in time because the past are always in relationship with the present and my past has so much beautiful and pleasant story tell about "PET"which is why i am going to drive back to the past and slowly i will bring you to the present with me while you enjoy the beautiful ride of a lifetime.....

           THE JOURNEY TO THE PAST....

it was 7 years ago, i was still young then but able to differentiate between good, bad, love, hate and many more feelings..

This story is one of the memories i kept locked in myself because it was not too pleasant but i found someone who became my friend and buddy and i was able to enjoy my stay over there...

It all started when i traveled to my mum's friends place at IBADAN, i went there to stay with her and her family, she had a child then, a boy but i was older than him then so i was more like an older brother...

I was told by my mother that i will be staying with them for a year because she needed someone to be with her kid after school and we can both be each other's company when has work....

I accepted and that was how i started living with them, i was home for two days and i was getting bored of the place, the environment and the estate was too quiet, i had only Gbemi as a brother to talk too and no other person..

When he goes to school, i am always at home with her younger sister who sits all day with her phone and then the loneliness was too much and i was missing my friends and neighbors at home...

A week went by and i went to my mum's friend and told her i want a pet and she was suprised and asked why???
i told her i have always wanted a dog as a pet and she said my mum told her and the dog will be here in a day and then i was happy and i hugged her while thanking her , i told her i and gbemi her son would take care of her in her absence and she smiled and went to work...

The following day, i woke up to find a beautiful puppy in a cage, it was a baby german shepherd, it was so lovely and beautiful and immediately i ran to to it and i carried it , so small but beautiful...

She told me her friend gave her one out of the babies the mother gave birth too and she had been taking care of her for over a month and now i have a responsibility and i was HAPPY...

When gbemi and i came back from school, we went to its cage and fed it milk and also carried it inside and i gave her a name TASSA.. she was hairy and was already growing..

We started enjoying each other's company, we chained it and took it around the estate until she was able to go and come herself...
She was always sensitive and active, she sleeps inside with us most time, we thought her how to do different things like catching balls and running after us, gbemi was now very close to her, we gave her biscuits and other goodies..

Before i knew it, i was spending over 2 years with my mum's friend and then Tassa was now a big beautiful dog, i could now go out on a stroll with her outside the estate and then we were now looking for a mate for her to give us babies...

Then tassa now knows what to do, we don't chain her when we are in the estate and we loved her a lot, she was now a member of the house, a lot was spent on her over the years, from treatment to feeding...

After a while, i left my mum's friends house and came home to check up on my family and decided to spend some time with them and then i decide to go back to bring her here and on getting there i heard the news of tassa's passing and asked what happened and i learnt that she was sick and she died and i cried because she was the only one who brought me out from my state of loneliness, she was more of a companion and a buddy than a pet...

After crying a while, i went outside and guess what i saw ???
I saw her babies in the cage, she had 8 puppies and was all like her and i went inside to meet gbemi's mum and she told me the true story that while she was giving birth, she died but her legacy lived on ...

       WHY DO I LOVE DOGS???....

               LOYALTY...

Dogs are very loyal pet, they are fun and interesting, Tassa was not just a pet but i also considered her a friend and dogs are very sensible, they treat you the way they are been treated, but one thing never change for them, they are always loyal to their owners and that is the best thing about them...

The reason i love tassa are as follows:

  • She was always fun and attentive
  • She doesn't bite strangers anyhow but she barks at weird looking people and any dark dressers and more active at nights..
  • She knows what to do when i call her, she comes and sit down expecting to be patted..
  • She was always there to keep me company at all times..
  • She brought me from the state of loneliness and boredom and she plays with kids generally...

In summary, she had 5 females and 3 males and then i took 2 home with me, a female and a male and left the others there and 4 were sold and they kept two, i gave the two to my sister and they were with her because i was too busy to take care of them but i heard she gave them to a VET ...

In conclusion, Tassa was my buddy and friend that brought me out of the state of loneliness and the state of boredom and made me livelier than i could ever imagine....

Dogs are indeed loyal, and when they are properly trained, you will thoroughly enjoy having them around. And when they play, they play with all they have.
Great pets indeed.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

It doesn't sound nice that tassa passed on. I love dog pet so much even though I have not kept any yet but when I see people with theirs I love what I usually see. Of a truth I have seen companionship, trust, attention in pets. Just like tassa was always there for you. The interesting part of the story is that atleast she left her kids as memory for you. Like you story should be acted as a movie. Thanks for sharing this boss

Dear @quduus1, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago when the HBD stabilizer proposal rose above it.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work?
You can do it on Peakd, Ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.

All votes are helpful and yours will be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Dogs are one of the most functional pets where apart from keeping the house safe, they can also help us in what we do on a daily basis, including helping us bring home firewood. your dog is very smart. thank you for sharing with us friend

A touching story here and I've had almost similar experience with my old dog and I knew how it felt for me.
Lossing a pet may be so unbearable. Well, we just have to look forward and keep in mind of mortality to animals so we don't feel too bad like we lost a human. Great post man.

What a touching story, I wish dogs can live half of a man's life. It would be a great thing because it is sad to bond with a pet and it will just suddenly disappear.

Tassa did have a good impact on you and I must say that her legacy true live on, 8 puppies is a lot.
