If there is anything I have ever wanted more from life and the universe itself, it would be having many siblings as I could get, I would love to have both older siblings and younger siblings not just for the fun of calling them my brother and sisters but for many other reasons entirely...

I have one thousand and one reason why I would never want to be an only child even though sometimes it is beyond the human capability to have more than one child and also at the same time, it is also within our capability to have either one child or more but the fact is that all this is based on different circumstances and situations...

Some people are forced to have just only one child either because they can't reproduce more than one or because they are in a situation where they can't cater for more than just one child and that is why they put an alt to more than one child...

I wouldn't want to be a parent with many kids and at the end of the day they end up being tattered and shabby like an homeless kids, I would rather be a father to just one kid if possible and I will work both heaven and earth to make sure he or she lives a very fulfilling and happy life as an only child, at least it is better than to bring many into the world of suffering and pain when you could have prevented such fate...

There is no greater joy than the joy of being looked out for by your elder siblings, it gives one this sense of security and safeness, just as how you are been watched over by your elder siblings, you also have a duty of watching over your younger siblings too because they need to feel secure at all times with the thought that my elder siblings will always have my back any time I need them and that is the joy of having several brothers and sisters...

An only child will not be privileged to have this kind of opportunity, his or her security will be from his/her parents and friends but not from his/her brothers and sisters if he or she had had more siblings...

I came to realize one beautiful fact about being an only child, if you notice very well, an only child is being pampered and loved so much by his or her parents and the reason is because of the word "only", it means just one and if I was in any parents shoes, I would also want my only child to feel loved, protected, secured, pampered and also disciplined in all manner because I have just one and not many...

The above summary is just a very quick drive-in into my main point of discussion today and I am very sure with my introduction, you all have gotten a quick hint on what my choice would be when it comes to either being an only child or having several brothers and sisters...

Without keeping you all waiting any longer, I would love to take you all on a journey and also giving you reasons why I would always choose to have several brothers and sisters than to be an only child...

It is indeed a fact that there are numerous and mouth watering benefits of being an only child, there is no competition for anything when it comes to being an only child, there is need for ultimate satisfaction and provision of necessary needs for the happiness of just an only child...

There are just too many benefit to it but at the same time, there are also many disadvantages to it but as time goes on it becomes normal but there is always a huge void at end of the day, one that could have been filled if there was more than one...

I would like to dive into the reasons why I would want to have several brothers and sisters...

Talking about myself, I would've loved it more if I had three sisters and one brother, I would want them to be in this order; two elder sisters, one elder brother and one younger sister...

I love it this way, it is just too perfect and too good to be denied, I would have become the fourth child with three elder siblings and one younger sibling, is that not beautiful and perfect? ❤️👌...

These are the reasons why I would want several brothers and sisters in my life...

- MARRIAGE : In my country and also in the tribe where I come from, I am sure it's same everywhere that female child are golden eggs in the hands of their parents, they are considered to be the pride of the family including the male child but much is expected from the female child than the male ln several ways and that is why they are called the pride of the family and the golden egg🥚🥚...

As it has been for many years that when a female child is about to get married, we are expected to collect a dowry from our in-laws and that includes the bride price and several other things like foodstuffs and more...

As a younger brother to the wife, it would be a joy in my heart when I see the husband and his friends prostrating for my sister's hand in marriage with different things as an offering and appreciation, imagine having three sisters, is that not a promising future if everything goes well for them??...

The dowries are little compared to the honor and respect it will bring to both parents and also siblings of the woman, the joy to behold your sisters or daughters wedding knows no bound...

- CONFIDANT : it is very important to be very close to your siblings, there are some time we move faraway from our parents but we run to our siblings every little time we feel insecure or bothered about some things...

Talking from personal experience, I am very close to my elder sister and mother than my elder brother and father, I feel much more better when I talk to her and my mum than I feel when I talk to my dad and brother...

There is just this strong connection I have with their words and whenever I feel down or confused in the journey of life, I either go to my elder sister or mother for confidence and at the end of the day I get better and cleared...

My brother and my dad are my last option when it comes to confiding in a family member...

There are days of sadness, unhappiness, loneliness, confusion, heartbreak and mixed feelings and all you need is someone to talk to and rub heads with, an only child will not be privileged to share all these moments with his or her siblings but with several brothers and sisters, it is sure to have connections with more than one of them and with them around you can always confide in them at your weakest moments just as how my younger sister would connect more with my elder sister when she starts growing in different ways and that was if I had one but I am the last child and I share these moments with my siblings...

- SECURITY & LOVE : It is indeed a fact that there will be utmost sense of security when there are several brothers and sisters to look after you, imagine having two elder sisters, one elder brother and a younger sister, I will feel protected by three of my elder siblings while my younger sister will be protected by 4 of her elder siblings especially when she is a female, this sense of security is heightened in us and the urge to protect our sisters is of a higher level at all times...

When it comes to our older sisters, we the boys of the family will always have their back that whenever a guy bullshit's you, just give us both a call and we will be there to fight for you as your younger brothers...

The love and security is just too much to be overpowered by the public, the love between us is what will make us stronger and closer at all times...

An only child would miss this privilege and the only protection he or she can get is from both parents and sometimes our parents can be very over protective and at the end of the day, there is this gap between them and their kid...

- FUN AND CRAZY TIMES : Having several brothers and sisters means more fun and mischievousness, everything is multiplied when it comes to more than one, there will be more wishes on your birthday, more punishment for any offense, more chores and tasks, more different experiences but everything just keep getting interesting with them at your beck and call...

An only child would miss this and that can leave a big void in their heart and it might affect their social life in some ways...

- NUMEROUS OPPORTUNITIES : When you have more siblings, there are opportunities to enjoy certain privileges and that includes sharing in your siblings belongings especially when it comes to wears and cosmetics lol...

I wear both my siblings tops and trousers on different occasions as having more siblings means looking more good and beautiful and that is a mouth watering deal 😋...

An only child won't be fortunate enough to have this type of life not until later as time goes on...

I would stop here for now but there are one million and one reason why I will always choose to have several brothers and sisters than being an only child...

In summary, I don't have anything about being an only child but I know it's not in many people's power to choose otherwise because they have not many options available to them and it can be one or nothing...

In conclusion, there is an advantage to being an only too and there are also many disadvantages of having many siblings too but I just stated the good aspect of it all but both option have their different advantages and disadvantages and that is why it is a good for different people but for me, I would love to have several brothers and sisters in my life...
