BATTLE STRATEGIES USING AGGRO LIGHT.png

~ 😘 Hello Gods Unchained lovers around the world 😘 ~

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. Well, I am very happy to be back in Gods Unchained community again because I have a new deck which I have been waiting for soooo long. Yeah, As you can see in the thumbnail above, I have a new Aggro light deck. Aggro Nature was my deck for like 1 month and I really need a new deck to explore the new strategy and gameplay in Gods Unchained and today, finally I can learn how to use Aggro Light deck. I'm super happy and curious, how far I can go with the new deck. I will definitely purchase another deck once I have enough gods token from playing daily and weekly ranked battle. Well, I think I have to introduce the new deck first and then we will discuss about the battle strategies I used in my first day playing Aggro light deck. Alright guys let's see the deck in detail :

Copy of team line-up (31).png

Alright guys, here is the new Aggro Light Deck which I will play regularly for daily and weekend ranked battle :

1.png

This deck has lots of 1 & 2 mana cards. as we can see in the above picture, there are 12 1 mana cards and 10 2 mana cards. I think I really have to win the battles as soon as possible because if the battle is keep going on for a long time, it will give lots of mana to both players and my cards will definitely could not have a chance against the opponent who have higher mana cards then mine. The rest of the cards are 4 3 mana cards, 2 4 mana cards and 1 cards for each 5 and 6 mana cards.

2 (3).png

Talking about the God power, I think the best God Power at the moment is Heal because it can restore 2 health points for one of my creature but as time goes by, maybe I will do some experiment later to utilize Summon Acolyte and Lysander's Honor. In my opinion, the power of this Light deck is that it can increase the health point of creatures into "infinity" as we can see there are so many abilities of cards which can increase the health points of creature so I think one of the basic strategy using light deck is never let your main monsters die in the battlefield because we can always increase their health point.

Well, Now let's discuss each card on by one :

Copy of team line-up (32).png

Empyrean Pacifist

image (9).png

I think this card is the most important 1 mana card because of his ability to increase his health +1 whenever we summon a creature in the battlefield. What makes this card special is because of his backline ability which makes this monster would not be able to be targeted as long as there's a friendly monster in the battlefield. I think the best strategy is to raise his health point until 10 because he will have frontline.

t.gif

Vexing Vicar and Dryder Sailweaver

image (10).png

The next cards are Vexing Vicar and Dryder Sailweaver. I put both cards in the same part because these cards have no ability to increase the friendly monster's health point which means that I will use these cards first in the battlefield before using some other cards. Both cards have ward ability but Vexing looks better since he has protected ability.

t.gif

Blind Martyr and Humble Benefactor

image (11).png

Okay, the next group of creatures are Blind Martyr and Humble Benefactor. I put them in the same criteria because both monsters have the ability to increase friendly health points. So the best way to use this card is to use another creature first and then use either Blind Martyr or Humble Benefactor. That way, we will have friendly monsters where the buff (+1 Health) will be given to.

t.gif

Thaeric Extortionist

image (12).png

I really like to use this card in the beginning of battle because this card can steal the opponent creature and make it as our friendly monster. We need 3 mana in order to activate his empower ability and I think the ability can only be activated when the card is in our hand. Well, since he can only target the opponent monster who have 2 or less strength, I think this card will be useful in the beginning of match only, when the mana given is equal or less than 3 because usually in higher mana round, monsters summoned to the battlefield have 3 or more strength.

t.gif

Vesper of Concession

image (13).png

The last 1 mana monster is Vesper of Concession. This monster has the ability to remove 1 durability of the opponent's relic so if we saw the opponent has relic beside of his/her god then this card is a good option to use. Another cool ability is protected which negate the opponent attack to Vesper of Concession for 1 turn. This card is a good option to be used in the beginning of the battle.

t.gif

Alright guys, now let's move into 2 mana cards :

Copy of team line-up (33).png

Holy Writ, Felid Janissary, Intimidating Uplifter

image (14).png

Alright guys, in 2 mana cards, we also have some cards which can increase the health points of friendly monsters. The first one we have Holy Writ. Although he can give +4 health but we have to be careful in the statements : `all creatures`. That means not only our cards will gain the buff effect but the opponent cards will also gain the same effect.

The next card is Felid Janissary, We need to make sure that there's another card in the battlefield before we used this card so that the ability of giving +1/+1 to friendly creature can be used. On of the reason why I like playing Aggro light is that each monsters are giving positive effect and make each other strong. That means even creature with 1/1 can be very strong after gaining some positive effect.

Next card is Intimidating Uplifter. His ability is like Felid Janissary but it requires additional 1 mana (empower) and the health point given to the friendly monster is 2 instead of 1. Both card have 2/2 stats.

t.gif

Mace of Calling

image (15).png

This is the only relic card in my deck. it helps the god to hit the target with 2 damage and has 2 durability, that means we can only use this relic twice. At the first time we put this card on the battle, we can add a 2/2 Acolyte to our hand, the mana cost of the card is 1 and it has 2 strength and 2 health. That card is always useful in the battlefield. we can use some other buff to make Acolyte stronger.

t.gif

Inquisitor Informant

image (16).png

This card is very special since it can give order +3 to the enemy creature. That means the target monster can not attack or being targeted for 3 round. I just realized 1 cool thing that : when a monster has frontline and he received "order" effect, the frontline is being negated and my monsters can attack god. This is very good since we can have more favor to take some cards from the sanctuary. We have to make sure to have stronger monster after the "order" effect finished.

Copy of team line-up (34).png

Radiant Dawn

image (17).png

This spell card give +1/+1 to all friendly monsters so the best time to use this card is when we have lots of cards in the battlefield, it doesn't matter whether they are strong or not, there are many support card in light deck which can help 1/1 creature became super strong so giving positive effect to friendly monster is always a good idea. The more creatures on the battlefield, the more better the effect would be as the spell card will give more positive effects to friendly monsters.

t.gif

Thestor, The Grieving General

image (18).png

This monsters gain +1/+1 whenever we summon a creature with strength 2 or less. since the light deck has so many cards with 1 and 2 mana so this card will gain many buffs after we summoned those low mana monsters. After playing for 2 days I am still not having this monster in monstrous strength though, but maybe later when I drew this Thestor and have many low mana cards in my hand, I think I can activate his ability many times.

t.gif

Argus, The White Wall

image (20).png

This is my favorite card in Light deck along with Asterius The Glittering One. If we can use it properly, this monster is super strong. This monster will gain additional health point at the same amount of additional health points that the friendly creature received. Let say our friendly creature A get +4 and B get +4 due to the spell card, Holy Writ ability, then Argus will get additional 8 health points which makes him has Frontline, 4 strength, 1 armor and 9 health points. That's very cool isn't? this monster gains additional health whenever friendly monsters raised their health point. so insane ability!

Copy of team line-up (35).png

Sern, The Moderator

image (21).png

This is a great card to be used to counter the opponent because of his ability to give order 3 to the opponent creature. We can choose the strongest opponent monster so "silent" the target for 3 rounds and arrange better team to beat the target. This card is a great card to be used if we used god power heal for 2 because whenever we heal our friendly monster, we can draw 1 card. Another ability is heal each friendly monster for 2 health points.

t.gif

Chaining of The Gods

image (22).png

This spell card is very useful when the mana given at the battle is 5 and above because we can choose between 3 options. If we are under pressured by the opponent, we can choose option 1 : the strongest creature gains -3/-2 but if we are dominating the battle, we can choose option 2 and 3 (when there are no monster in the opponent side), Each creature gains +1/+1 and The weakest creature gains +2/+3.

Copy of team line-up (37).png

Canonize

image (23).png

This spell is a good card to strengthen 1 of our card since it gives the friendly creature a protection and +3/+3. I would suggest to choose the strongest monsters since he will kill the opponent creature who has lower stats easily. we can use this card to counter the opponent as well because it boosts the creature stats instantly.

Copy of team line-up (38).png

Asterius, The Glittering One

image (24).png

The last monster is Asterius, The Glittering One. He is one of my favorite cards along with Argus the White Wall because of his ability to increase all of the friendly creature stats by +2/+2. When we have some monsters in the battlefield, all of them will be more stronger with the presence of Asterius The Glittering One. If Argus The White Wall is also in the battlefield, he will gain lots of additional health points as well.

As the conclusion, Light deck is about planning to make our team has as many health point as possible, there are lots of buffs to increase the maximum health of each monsters so we have to play carefully and make a good plan. We have to think about how to make our creature keep alive so that we can increase their health points and finally their attack point (strength).

Copy of team line-up (39).png

This is the best battle where I have used Asterius, The Glittering One and Thestor, The Grieving General. I hope you like it :

God Power

Heal 2 to one of our characters

1 Mana

I played Empyrean Pacifist and Vesper of Concession. Empirean is needed because he can add +1 health whenever I summon a creature to the battlefield, that will make this monster super strong monster when he has 10 health as he will have frontline ability. Vesper is being chosen since he is the best 1 mana monster with his protection ability.

2 Mana

With the power of Thaeric Extortionist who can transform an enemy creature into friendly monster, I used him to send one of the opponent monster to the void and replace her with Thaeric Militant. Next step is to attack the opponent god with 2 monsters who are available to attack.

3 Mana

Again, I used the empower ability. Now, it's Intimidating Uplifter to increase the stats of Thaeric Militant. He has the ability to reduce the opponent strength by -1 so I have to make it strong using some buff. All my monsters are destroying the opponent monsters and now I am leading the battle.

4 Mana

I used the spell card, Chaining of the Gods to increase my creatures stats but I think I did a mistake when I increase the stats of the weakest monsters. initially the opponent creature was the strongest but after getting buffs he became the weakest so he get the buffs from my spell, my bad!. I should have used give +1/+1 to all creatures.

5 Mana

The opponent is getting stronger and we have fierce fight to dominate the battle. I gave order +3 to the strongest opponent creature and tried to give buff to Empyrean as I believe he will be very useful in the next some rounds. My first Empyrean has very high health point and he killed some opponent's creature.

5.5 Mana

I used the legendary monster, Thestor, The Grieving General and summon many 1 mana cards to increase his stats. Whenever a new monsters were summoned, both Empyreans and Thestor increased their stats. Wonderful. I killed a monster who has low Health point and use the rest of monsters to attack the opponent God.

6 Mana

I used the Empower ability of Thaeric Extortionist to transform one of my opponent creature into my friendly monster. It's again increase the stats of Empyrean and Thestor. I have strong and solid 6 monsters whom I can use to destroy the opponent's creature and the God. Very exciting to send those monsters into their void.

6.5 Mana

One of my Empyrean has more than 12 health so he has frontline ability now. It makes my team much more stronger. Since the opponent has no frontline, I can attack his God with my 6 monsters. The opponent's God health is just 12 at this point.

7 Mana

I am sooo lucky that I drew Asterius. Well, I used that monster directly and he increased all of my friendly monsters stats by 2. That's enough to kill the opponent God.

Yes, With pleasure.

Gods Unchained is a super easy game in which you can apply for scholarship to get the idea about how to play that game. Approximately, you only need 1 - 2 weeks and you will understand the game play. It's very easy. There's also some tutorials which can help you out.

I personally got around $7 playing for 2 weeks, not much but if we keep learning the game, it will be a lot in the future. For me, I will reinvest the gods token I earned to purchase new deck monthly :).

If you want to know more about Gods Unchained, you can go to the discord group below :

and here is the link for scholarship if you want to get started :

Do I need to invest in this game.?

Yes, the capital cost is around $30 - $40

But if you don't want to invest then you can play using scholarship account. After 1-2 months, you will get around $30 in gods token I guess (depend on your performance) and you can play for free using your new deck.

Besides this game and splinterlands ,which one you prefer to play?

You mean which one is better? well, honestly Gods Unchained is much cheaper. I invested $5000 in splinterlands and yeah still struggling to achieve my goal there. so if you like cheaper game then Gods Unchained is better.

I don't. I'm too easily distractable and already struggle with my time management, so I don't have the bandwidth to add any new games to my daily routine. I still play Magic the Gathering on tabletop (paper cards in person) a few times a month, but Splinterlands is the only game in town for me.

I encountered this deck multiple time this week (all ended in a loss). It is a very solid deck.

Hmm, yeah i think so, but we really have to dominate the beginning of the battle and kill the opponent's god before high mana battle because that deck isn't designed for high mana battle, most of the cards are low mana

thanks for the reply, afterglow
