FACE TO FACE BRAWL BATTLE : PELACOR MERCENARY VS PALIDON RAKK

Welcome back to my channel, @queen-silvia, In this Battle Weekly Challenge, I am going to share to all of you the face to face battle between the common Chaos Legion monster, Pelacor Mercenary vs the rare Gladius Monster (from earth splinter as well), Palidon Rakk. As all of you know that Gladius is very strong in brawl battle since they can add up 1 point for all stats, but what about this battle? in earthquake rule set? let's discuss it in the following section

Alright, Here is the battle link about one of my brawl fights. The mana is 14 with all splinters are available to be used except life. As I have rented Scarred Llama Mage, I was thinking of putting 1 monster with flying ability and my choice is Pelacor Mercenary. There will be more discussion regarding battle in every round in the next chapter, this link is provided for those who want to see the full match. Enjoy~

This summoner is frequently used in brawl battle, especially if we found the battle where mana is low, around 12 - 19. We can use this summoner with single strong monster like Flesh Golem, Kron The Undying, Quora Towershead, Grund, Pelacor Mercenary to activates the Last Stand ability quickly as soon as the battle started. The skill will increase the monster's stats if it's the only Monster on the team alive. The rise of stats is x1.5 rounded up.

This card was used because he was the strongest flying monster available (Regal Peryton was banned due to Lost Magic Ruleset). Talking about his stats, At Lv.1 He has 2 attack, 2 speed, 1 armour and 8 health point. with the help of Last Stand Ability given by Scarred Llama Mage, his stats increased to 3 melee attack, 3 speed, 2 armour and 15 health point. Another interesting skill is fling which increase the dodge ability when he is being attacked by enemy.

In Round 1, As we can see in the picture above, Palidon Rakk has 5 Melee attack and 21 health points after receiving Last Stand ability, while Pelacor Mercenary has 3 Melee attack and 15 health points only. One thing to remember is that the ruleset is earthquake, so Palidon Rakk will receive 2 damage in each round but Pelacor Mercenary does not. At the start of the battle, Palidon attack missed due to flying ability.

In round 4, Palidon attack hits Pelacor Mercenary again, Now the comparison of health point between Pelacor Mercenary and Palidon Rakk is 10 for Pelacor Mercenary and 3 for Palidon Rakk. Based on this comparison, we could understand that Pelacor Mercenary is going to win the battle.

In the final round, Palidon Rakk died after receiving attack from Pelacor Mercenary since his health point is just 1. He gives damage successfully to Pelacor Mercenary but it was not enough to kill him. The match is over. Pelacor Mercenary won the battle.

Alright, this monster is really powerful especially when he reached level 6 since he got heal ability at that stage. In that level, player can combine Pelacor mercenary with Scarred Llama mage as his heal ability and Last stand ability will make him super immortal. Another strength is flying ability. he has chance to evade attack from monster who has no flying ability, the example has been shown in battle analysis.
