FINISHED 5TH IN TOURNAMENT USING TUSK THE WIDE IN BATTLEFIELD

Hello Everybody on Hive Blockchain,

Welcome back to my channel, @queen-silvia, In this week's battle weekly challenge, I am going to share to all of you about my strategy on how I could finish on top 5 at "Spring Training Pop Up Sit-and-Go Novice". This is my 4^th tourney so far and I'm really glad that I can make it into top 5. What makes me interested to join in this tournament is because the reward is Spring Training Mini Pack giving 3 cool NFT's which you can see in the above thumbnail. Alright, Here is the battle link where we can see how to counter Obsidian team (where almost all of the opponents are magic users) using Tusk the Wide since he has void ability at the 1 position. - BATTLE PREVIEW -

Mana and Rulesets

Icon	Ruleset	Explanation
	Super Sneak	All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability. Choose a summoner that increases/reduces Melee attack or Mylor Crowling, an earth summoner who gives Thorn ability to all of friendly monster. Keep a monster with Shield, Retaliate or Thorns in the last position.

Line Up

Summoner

	Tarsa	In Tournament which only Chaos legion can be used and No legendary cards allowed, Tarsa is the only option for summoner. Her ability is giving additional 1 melee attack, so mostly, I set melee monster in my team. Additional 1 health will strengthen the team.

Monsters

Card	Monster	Reason to Pick Up and Set
	Tusk The Wide	I used this monster to anticipate if the opponent is using magic monster, since the ruleset is super sneak, there is a probability that he might use huge magic attack to kill my tank. Therefore, Tusk the Wide used to overcome those magic attack. His 12 health point is enough to hold their magic attack.
	Disintegrator	This monster is used to reduce the opponent's melee attack since he has Demoralize skill. It's used to anticipate if the opponent is using huge melee attack with Tarsa as summoner. At list Disintegrator can reduce the melee attack by 1 as long as he is alive on the battlefield.
	Tenyii Striker	This is the key monster in my team since he has the highest melee attack (total 3 melee attacks) and the highest health point after Tusk the wide. I put him in 3^rd position in case the first and second monsters are taken down. His 6 health point will hold several enemies attack.
	Scavo Hireling	His special ability is repair which restores some armor to the friendly monster whose armor has taken the most damage. Since there are two monsters only who have armor, Disintegrator and Antoid Platoon, Scavo will repair the armor of both monsters only.
	Radiated Scorcher	In the normal ruleset, this monster can not attack opponent, but since the ruleset is super sneak, He has the sneak ability, which allow him to attack opponent monster in the last position, so with his 2 speed, he could add additional 2 attack which is very important.
	Antoid Platoon	This monster has vital role to hold all of the melee attack using his shield ability. The super sneak ability will make all of opponent monsters attack him and shield ability will reduce all of those melee attack. Not only defend but he can also attack the enemy since he has melee attack too.

- BATTLE ANALYSIS -

Round 1

At the first sight, we can see that the Obsidian team strategy was countered by Tarsa team as she has Tusk The Wide in the first position. All of the magic attacks were reduced by 1. Mycelic Morphoid sneak attack has no impact to Antoid Platoon since he has shield ability. In the other side, All of Tarsa team are attacking Mycelic Slipspawn due to it's Taunt ability.

Round 2

At this round, Tarsa team has successfully killed Mycelic Slipspawn and Mycelic Morphoid as their total attack is 10 melee attack, so much deadly. Even at the end of round 2, The Obsidian team is unable to killed Tusk the Wide Thanks to the Void ability. In the next round, regal peryton will be in the last position and will be the next target of Tarsa's team.

Round 3

In this round, Tusk The Wide has been defeated and Disintegrator took his place. In the opponent side, Regal Peryton was killed after taking lots of attack from Tarsa team. At this rate, the match looks over since Goblin Psychic's speed is just 1, that's means all of attacks are going to him and those attacks will always hit. Tarsa team is in advantage.

Round 4

We can see from here, Goblin Psychic and Hill Giant were defeated, and the monster left is Acid shooter, he won't be able to attack since he is the ranged attack monster. so we can imagine the Tarsa's win in the next round.

Round 5

With one time attack from Tenyii Striker, The match is over. Tarsa is the winner of this match. The lesson we got from this battle is we need to anticipate the opponent's strategy, any kind of attack, whether melee, ranged or magic is possible. We have to be ready for "the most possible attack" that the opponent will launch.

- STRATEGY REVIEW -

Did my strategy work? The answer is yes, my strategy works very well since we could take down all of the Obsidian team while the Tarsa's team remains 4 monsters in the battle field. The key monster is Tusk the Wide who can reduce all of the magic attacks and Tenyii striker who can give 3 melee damage to opponent's team.
