Hutan Kota - The Forest in the middle of Metropolis City, Indonesia

5.jpg

~ 😘 Hello Pinmapple Community around the world 😘 ~

Welcome back to my post, @queen-silvia. Today I am gonna show you some pictures when I visited "Hutan Kota" in Jakarta, Indonesia. "Hutan" in Indonesian language and it means "Forest" and "Kota" means "City". The forest is located in the Metropolis City near Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. The biggest stadium in Indonesia where the International matches are often held. Many people come to this place to breathe fresh air in the morning and have quality time with their beloved people. there is a vast meadow where visitors can enjoy the beauty of nature along with views of luxury & multi-storey buildings. Alright guys, let me show you some pictures that I got.

This is the first thing we saw when we reached Hutan Kota. There are some facilities that we can enjoy such as Commercial Kiosk, Park Amphiteater, Grand Amphiteater, and Samanea Pond

Basically Grand Ampiteater and Park Ampiteater are the same area. The difference is that Grand Ampiteater has wider meadow and the altitude of Ampiteater Park is higher than Grand Ampiteater. The first picture in this post is Grand Ampiteater, Here are some other pictures :

I like the combination view of forest and the buildings. Usually both things are separated. It's either we can see the forest only or buildings only, but in this Hutan Kota, we can see both at the same time and location.

Meanwhile, Park Ampiteater has higher altitude and there are many people just sitting around and enjoy the view of the forest combined with huge and sophisticated building in the Metropolis city. It's a great place to talk with our partner or beloved family. The green open space has always been an interesting place to unwind after hard days at work.

Some people take pictures with their beloved people. When I came here, some girls also ask me to take their photos. Well, I was glad to help them. For people in Jakarta, having holiday in the place where we can see many plants and flowers (like in this forest) can refresh their mind so that they can release stress from their daily job.

Another tourist attraction is the Samanea Pond. Here, The visitors can feed the fish just for fun. Some people bring fish food like pellets from their home and then spread it here.

This is the closer look of the pond. There are Goldfish, Koi and Tilapia fish in this pond. they are always hungry, whenever we throw the pellets into the water, the fish gobbled it up very quickly.

It looks so cool! Such a huge park contrasting those modern skyscrapers. It's like two totally different worlds πŸ™‚ It made me think of the Central Park in New York for some reason πŸ™‚

Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the kind words. Yeah, in the upper side, I love all those skyscrapers. The outer layer of the building is made of glass so it reflects the sun light and showing nice gradient color at noon.

In the lower side, the meadow, some trees and a pond gives nice nature experience for the visitors.

Thanks for all of your support, delishtreats, much appreciate it

Hello Aftersound,

Wow, thank you for replying the post, it's such an honor for me to see you 😊

Yeah, Indonesia has 1340 tribes and each of them has their own unique culture like traditional building, clothes, dance, etc.

Since it's an island country ,Indonesia has many beach and mountain which the visitor can enjoy. You might have heard about Bali, it's like a paradise for American or European people, they like to spent their holiday there.

Have a nice day :)

Pinmapple is a great community. My dream since I was a kid is to travel around Europe countries. I wish to visit as many countries as I can. So reading and looking at the unique structure, design and construction of European building always rise my spirit to work harder to save some money for the travel.

Great to know that, I wish you had nice holiday in Indonesia. If you have any questions related to Indonesia, just ping me on discord or this hive platform :)
