INDONESIAN QUALIFIERS FOR INDO VS JAPAN CHALLENGE | GIVEAWAY #36

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. In this Social Media Challenge, I am going to share a completely different post. At some of my previous posts, we have seen that all of the posts were talking about being a winner in various kind of tournaments but at the moment, I am going to share a special event which barely happened before. The event is called Indonesian Qualifiers for Indonesia vs Japan Challenge. So basically it's a national tournament. The goal of this tournament is to pick the top 5 players to challenge the top Japanese players. As stated in his twitter account, Schnapoon has accepted our challenge, he said that he, @ueyuey and @hellslash will be the Japanese delegation.

- TOURNAMENT BACKGROUND -
So the tournament was inspired by Schnapoon, Halfblue and Hellslash stream when they were showing the battle between the Top Philippines and Japanese players. The mechanism for the Challenge was there are 5 delegations for each league. The Philippines team delegation were @voidwalk and @dafusa for Bronze league, @albee for Silver league, @jayemm3 for Gold League and @ptrek for Diamond League. While the delegations from Japan were @hametaro and @ueyuey for bronze league, @schnapoon for silver league, @hellslash for gold league, and @yukihyakubai for diamond league
All of the matches were sooo attractive since the delegations are the top players in each country. I have never seen their strategy before. The toughest match was between jayemm3 and Hellslash, when the battle finished with 2-3 for Hellslash win. In my opinion this kind of challenge is very unique just like the World Cup, If your country is competing against another nationality, you would support them. This kind of feeling makes the challenge much more awesome. I can see how Philippines people hope that they could win against Japan team. At the end of the challenge, The final score is 5-0 for Japan win. So, I hope, whoever became Indonesian delegation against Japan, I hope we can get some points, I would be very happy if we can win against them 😆.
- TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW -
Alright, let's move into the Tournament overview. The tournament is intended for Indonesian players only since the goal is to select the best 5 of them. I made the entry fee for 1 DEC only which is literally free so that I wish we can invite as many players as we can. All the rules of this tournaments are determined by the majority of Indonesian community through voting. For instance, the league of tournament. Since most of Indonesian players are playing at Silver, so most of them are choosing Silver league. Another example is the available card, So there were 2 options whether the Legendary monster may be used in the battle or not and As the majority said that the all the legendary should be banned then we make this tournament without legendary cards.
The next ruleset is related to tie breaker. We made the ruleset into anytime (24 hours) so that every participant could fill the match whenever they want based on their leisure time. There are 20 players in each group and 40% players will qualify to the final round. These rules are intended to minimize the chance for tie breaker. It was made based on the consensus of Indonesian majority as well. This way we do hope that less players will have the same points at the end of the tournament. The last but not least, The card edition allowed are modern as the majority of Indonesian players want the tournament to be held in modern format.
One thing that I want to say is Thank you very much for the fund donor for this tournament: @cicisaja, @evanstinger, Silvia's friend (A very kind person), @heatslingers, and @chairman. I have put some DEC as well there. The total prize for the tournament is $135. Some of the donations are given to the Japanese streamer as the giveaway when the Indonesia vs Japan Challenge are streamed.
- INDO VS JAPAN CHALLENGE MECHANISM -
I have talked to Schnapoon through twitter and asked him whether he is accepting the all silver match challenge. He said that it's fine since Japanese has lots of Silver specialist like him, Ueyuey, and Hellslash and in Indonesian side, most of players are playing at silver. I personally saw @kjchemical pretty often at the silver leaderboard too so I wonder if he would like to join us for the challenge. I think he is one of the perfect opponent for it. Based on the last conversation with him, the Challenge mechanism will be all silver match in wild format. Either Japanese or Indonesian players could send the challenge invitation to their opponents and all the battles will be shown at the Schnapoon Splinterlands TV, I would be very happy if it could be shown as well in Halfblue and Hellslash Stream. The final score will be announced at the end of the stream.
- NEXT PLAN AFTER INDO VS JAPAN CHALLENGE -
Based on the statistic, there are 2 biggest Splinterlands community in the world. The first one is US (for sure, as most of the Splinterlands team are from the US), and the Philippines is the second. So I'd like to organize the same tournament where the top Indonesian players from the next Qualifiers tournament could challenge the Top players either from either the US or Philippines. I do believe those matches will be very great and we can get the new insight of battle strategy from strong players. The Indo vs Japan challenge tournament is the first one which I organized. I really hope that the tournament could go well and make all of the participants happy with the result and prize. I have arranged and distributed the prize for the top 25 participants to make sure that most of them can be rewarded. I really hope that @splinterlands team could make a World Cup Tournament which bring together all of the best players in each country like Football World Cup. It must be sooo awesome.

Wow! I didn't know this was a thing. This is great for the game, it will give more spotlight. I hope you do well against Japan, but keep in mind they are very very strong, especially in silver.
