TANAH LOT, One of the Greatest Vacation Spot in Bali, Indonesia

13.jpg

~ ๐Ÿ˜˜ Hello Pinmapple Community around the world ๐Ÿ˜˜ ~

Welcome back to my blog at @queen-silvia. In today's post, I am gonna share my experience as well as some photographs of Tanah Lot. It's one of the greatest tourism spot in Bali because we can see a separate small island (or maybe I have to say "Big Rocks") which is used by local people to do their worship and some special ceremony. Basically, Tanah Lot is the place where the most sacred temple was built in Bali. Well, It's a culture that you might never heard about it yet so I'll put all the best pictures I got and share them all to you in this article. I hope you can enjoy it and let's get started!

Tanah Lot is located 20 Km from Denpasar, the capital city of Bali province. It's at the southern part of Bali island as we can see in the map below. The Southern part is the most developed area in Bali, Many people either domestic or from other countries have invested in building hotels, swimming pool, Villa, etc because the natural scenery in the Southern Part is very beautiful. Besides, There are many wonderful temples which is also a great view for tourism spot. The Government also helped to construct many facilities in order to increase the tourist attractiveness in this area.

This is the first view when we arrived at Tanah Lot. We can See something written in Indonesian Language : "Daya Tarik Wisata Tanah Lot" which means Tanah Lot tourist attraction. The cost for the ticket is 60,000 IDR for adult ($4) and 30,000 IDR for children ($2). Well, I think it's not costly for tourist and most of people in Indonesia too as we can enjoy the great panorama in Tanah Lot. It's worth the cost, Trust me ๐Ÿ˜„.

Walking down in the street of Tanah lot, we can see a spacious and clean park where some of the Hindu statues are made and displayed in the park. Here is how the park looks like. I really love this park. I wish the trees can grow bigger so that when I come back here again the trees can make the air even better. The park really heals my self and refresh my mind.

Looks clean, leafy, and wonderful right? I think it's one of the best place to have picnic with family on a comfort grass and feel the fresh air under trees. There are many tourist who enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Tanah Lot when I went there. They came from outside of Indonesia and some other developed countries from various parts of the world. Most of them are Americans, European and some people from East Asia like Japan and Korea. Here are some of the pictures of statues which are displayed in the garden :

All the statues are showing The God and Goddess of Hindu whom Hindu people worshipped everyday.

Below pictures are showing Tanah Lot in General. We can see the beautiful waves and feel the cool breeze of the beach. There was a strong wave which is great to be photographic object.

I was curious about how the temple on the big stone looks like so I tried to walk there and here is the picture I got :

main 3.png

There was no officers on the temple so I was not decided to get in. The temple is so sacred so I am afraid local people will mad at me if I walk further.

Along the way, we can see several stalls selling knick-knacks and souvenirs like small to medium sized wood carvings, key chain, fridge decoration (magnet), hats, bags, etc. These are some good stuffs to bring home for beloved people. Trust me. The wood carvings looks so nice. It's all hand made by local people. Those objects will be a reminder that we have visited Tanah Lot, Bali

I tried to walk around to explore as many things as I can in Tanah Lot and I founded local people who were preparing themselves for some ritual ceremonies. Most of them are women who wears Balinese traditional clothes similar to Batik, Indigenous clothes of Indonesia. Yellow color for woman and Black & White for man. I was so grateful that the weather was shiny so I could take clear photographs. Those people are the volunteers who want to preserve the original culture of Tanah Lot.

Here is one of the example of the Sacred Temple in Tanah Lot. There's a description in every temple in Indonesian and English language so that not only local people but people from other countries could also understand the standard rules applied in the temple.

This is the Tanah Lot inauguration monument which was signed by the President of Indonesia (in that moment), Megawati Soekarnoputri and the delegations from each countries such as India, South Africa, Germany, France, Chile and Mozambique Africa.

Tanah Lot has also some gazebos where tourist can enjoy the beautiful scenery of beach and breeze air. I saw there are many local people in Bali who have mastered speaking in English very well. They talked to many people from other countries, some of them just want to greeting them and some other are talking something related to business stuffs. This is what amazed me. Unlike some other region in Indonesia, I think Balinese people are the best when it comes to speak in English, maybe because many tourist from other countries visited this island so they have no other choice.

It is because they have a big community back in 2016/2017 when there was only one platform called steem, the anchestor of Hive before they are splitting. And yes, not sure how they promote steem back then over there, but there are a lot of users from Aceh.
sending some !LUV back to you and a !LOLZ for a good laugh
