That's when this classic combination came back to life. Seeing today's plate of crispy parathas and roasted dal reminded me of my childhood. The smell of steaming parathas placed on a newspaper and the spicy dal next to them instantly increases your appetite. The satisfaction when you dip the lightly oiled parathas into the hot dal gravy and take it in your mouth. In fact, it is impossible to compare it to the food of an expensive restaurant. Small pleasures make our lives beautiful. Such a simple but extraordinary breakfast arrangement makes the morning a joy.
