Eat Drink & Blech - Christmas Celebration

Christmas is a festival of lights and decoration. Even though it is not a Indian festival, people enjoy it with full enthusiasm. I know my dad used to have a small get together on this day, while me used to have some fun at home. This year is nothing special. However I went to my aunt place just for a small outing.

And she served me with a home made cake, some delicious peas stuffed kachori in the morning breakfast.

She is Krishna devotee so she used to offer all the cooked food to God and then she serve to all, that is why you will notice the basil leave right on top of each one of the item. It is symbol of pyrety and vegetarian. So the cake is also pure vegetarian with nuts and cookies. I like each bite of it.

Christmas celebrstion at home is generally about gifting goodies and cutting cake. Normally my dad used to place some cookies, chocolates underneath the pillow and next morning when I find them he used to say that it was the Santa that gifted it. I wish he remain my secret Santa forever. Coming to the day celebrstion I went out with my aunt for a brief outing nearby market. I found this quite very interesting

It means, just eat, drink and blech. It seems our day was going likewise, as we have eaten a lot of chocolates , and other cookies at home. It is always fun to be with the relatives. Because the times pass very fast. Not like when you keep reading books and times doesn't pass by. My aunt arrange ordered some food, which is like pav bhaji we packed them from the same restaurant.

It was delicious. Though I do not like outside food, but this one really taste better. Anyway the day gets over too fast to soon and now I am on my way back to home. It was a good outing with the family and relative. And have a good Christmas celebration.
