A Woman's Introspection: Embracing womanhood and the Joy That comes with it. #LOH #176

While I was growing up, I saw women being maltreated in their homes including my mother and I began to wonder why won't they leave to somewhere else better, I wonder if we were created to live like that, even in this ill-treatment, the women were still courageous and strong enough to stand and build themselves. They stayed back not because they had no place to run to but because they are stronger. It was only then that I realised that a woman is one creature you cannot break easily. This has led us to this week's question from the @ladiesofhive which states that:

March is women's month and we would like you to reflect beyond the stereotypes about what you like about being a woman from the depths of your being, focus on characteristics and personal reasons.

Immediately I saw this question, it took me back to a statement I always tell my husband that "in my next life, I would still love to be a woman" yes, I really like that I am woman despite the fact that, we are seen as weaklings, I would still choose to come in this form in my next life. Don't worry, by the time you finish reading this, I am sure my reasons will convince you to come as a woman in your next life too,😉 that is if you are a man.

Even though, life as a woman is not easy but I could wake up everyday and thanking God for bringing me in this form and of course, I would love to share with you some few unique characteristics that made me say that:

1. Ability to nurture
Nothing in this world comes easy and for you to get anything done, you must nurture it. So as a woman, I can't help but admire this aspect. I am blessed with the ability to nurture, I am someone who is always caring, supporting and looking out for a positive change.

2. A woman is a patient creature
As a woman, being patient is one thing that I like. this comes hand in hand with nurturing because without patience, you cannot nurture someone or anything at all. It takes patience to nurture. Instead of complaining, a woman is always ready to walk through it not minding how tough it is going to be.

3. Compassionate and Loving.
When a woman loves, she loves with everything in her and she is ready to go extra miles for her love. In this aspect, I must say the universe did a complete job on women because if a woman loves, she loves with her life. Starting from her parents, to her husband, to her kids. As a woman, I can do anything to make sure my family is okay, not because of anything but because of the love I have for them.

Talking about love, here is short interesting story I would love to share with you. There was a woman who left her only son at home with the husband and went to the market.

The husband got carried away with whatever he was doing and the child who was just 4 years old was playing outside near a well that was unclosed. And unfortunately he fell inside the well, The husband heard some sound and rushed outside to see what it was only to find out that his son had fallen inside the well

News got to the mother in the market that her son fell inside the well. Immediately she left everything she was doing and rushed home, seeing people gathered around with the husband and thinking of what to do. The woman ran with speed and dive into the well. Why? Probably to serve her child. Whereas, the father was still standing thinking of what he could do.

I hope this short story explains the word LOVE better than I do.
Like I said earlier, when a woman has a course to love, she loves with her everything.

Finally, I also have my personal reasons as to why I like being a woman, which is being:
- Confident, Determination, strong and bold like I said earlier, a woman is one creature you cannot break easily. Someone like me, no matter what comes my way, I am always refusing to look at the down side of it, instead, I cry, of course you know it's okay to cry😀 but what I don't do is give up....nah! It is not in our DNA or my DNA rather.

The truth is, women are special creatures, and as such, they deserve to be celebrated everyday.
