David, my son decided to give us a two day waterless notice

Hi great people of Hive and the amazing community of @motherhood. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend? Today I would like to share with you one weird act that David did during the weekend that got me pissed up and the same time, it was a funny act. Like I did not know if I was supposed to be laughing or angry 😂

Okay, so during the weekend, it was particularly on Saturday, I closed from work and on reaching home, I discovered that there was no water rushing from my tap (in my compound, everyone has his or her own tap in their bathroom or kitchen) I was very worried because I know for a fact that it is only when there's no light that the water won't rush but there was light, so what could be the case?

Thank God I already had some water store as an alternative. So my kids and I used the water in my jar to bathe. The next morning which was Sunday, I woke up with the same issue there was light but still no water, it got me more frustrated. I started thinking of how to buy water from outside but something kept telling me to ask my neighbours if they are experiencing the same thing

None of my neighbours were experiencing it....what could be wrong, i thought 🤔
Immediately, I rushed to where my tap switch was from outside and I saw that it was off. Who could have possibly done this? I asked my kids and to my own surprise, David said he was the one that did it.

How? David, for good two days we went without water, I almost gave out money for my girl to buy water outside. It wasn't funny at all. And you know, David is somebody that is still struggling to talk, even if he manages to say something, you will not understand him. As he was explaining himself, I kept saying to myself "what's this one even saying? Does he even know the gravity of what he has done? 😂

The funny part of it is that he doesn't know that, that switch is connected to our water, he must have probably forgotten that he did something of such too.
It was then I realised that children can spoil things leaving you to think of a solution that does not exist 😂 Well, I punished him and cautioned him not to try anything of such again, after about a few minutes, he came to sleep on my body.
