Something About Me

You have the heart to kill, my mom said. But how? When has ignoring and enduring have to do with killing? I don't understand why she would say that to me. Just when I was trying to fathom why she said that, guess what! She hit me with this question
"So you think you know yourself"? Mummy, it is like you saw me in your dream last night, I said 😂

Well, she compared me to answer the question and I was like "of course, I do know myself" But it seems this woman has forgotten that I am the second version of her, yes, I inherited everything from her. She is not a complainer. I have never seen my mother quarrel with anyone all my life? Does this mean people don't offend her? Of course, They do but she just choose the simple life. "Ignore and let things slide". 👌

Enough of me and my mother. When I saw this month prompt, "Do you know yourself well enough"? I screamed "No way, not this question again"😂Well, what was I expected to say? To be sincere, at some point, I used to think I knew myself too well and to some extent the same me will be finding the real me, lol!

Hold on! I can't go further without saying kudos to @kenechukwu97 for this brilliant topic, it got me thinking all through and it gave me a self reflection moment.

Okay now, back to the main gist, you know, people change as they grow every day. Situation might change someone into being good to being a bad person, people change according to what they encounter in life but there are things that don't change about us no matter the situation and that is our personality, the real you. the real you can never change.

Yes, I know myself well enough, I am a very simple person, I take life so simple that you can't easily offend me. Why? Because even if you offend me, I will swallow it and drink chilled water on it and we will both continue to gist and laugh, I won't even tell you at that particular time that you offended me, it might take me up to months or a year, sometimes, I might end up not telling you and life will continue 😅 and I hardly complain about something. You know, everything about life is a learning process so I always try to learn my lesson for every person that offends me on a low key.

What are the things that bother you about the way you live your life?

Hehe! To be honest, I don't have anything that bothers me about the way I live my life. At least not now.... exception of that fact that I haven't made money 😁

How do you feel when dealing with people that have those same attributes?

Hmmmmm! Well, I don't know if I am the one that hasn't taken notice but aside from my mother, I haven't really met anyone with this attribute. But what if in case, I meet someone with the same attribute? Wait a minute! I can't say for sure how I will deal with such a person but one thing I am sure of is that, I will be happy for finding someone who behaves exactly like me.
