While perhaps not as impressive size-wise as the famous Egyptian Sphinx, we do have our own miniature version in Ohio, about halfway between Cleveland and Akron, ticket away in the beautiful town of Hinckley!

Worden's Ledges was I place I never knew about until last year, even though it lies just down the street from the famous Whipps' ledges that I used to often visit with family as a child, and later in life as a teenager and adult.

The stone Carved faces would be worth the trip alone, not to mention the giant Sphinx!... Actually, the beautiful hike and ledges would be worth the trip alone

As you can see, it was a beautiful Fall day... 🍂 🍁

Plenty of places to slip and twist your ankle, So be careful!

It was actually a very easy hike...not too far to get to the sites, so I would recommend it for all skill levels/abilities.

No shortages of sights to behold...

Just like the real Sphinx, time has eroded away at her face.

Fall is a beautiful season, it's just a tad short here in Northern Ohio...

This is definitely worth the ten minute detour if you are driving between Columbus and Cleveland!

Wow! Im amazed how those on the stone curved? Are they natural or man-made? And I love the fallen leaves - it is perfect to take photoshoot while the leaves are falling haha.

Those stones curved are very unique. It needs much patience, time consuming on making those curved.
