Introducing myself on Hive [ENG/ESP]
Hello friends of hive, my name is Evelio Quintero I am from a small town called San Joaquin in the state of Carabobo. Previously I had created an account but I did not know how to use it until by chance of life I found a friend who advised me to enter and be part of this group.
I hope to meet and learn from the experiences of each person and also to be accepted by you.
Hola amigos de colmena, mi nombre es Evelio Quintero soy de un pequeño pueblo llamado San Joaquín en el estado Carabobo. Anteriormente había creado una cuenta pero no sabía cómo usarla hasta que por casualidades de la vida encontré a un amigo que me aconsejó entrar y formar parte de este grupo.
Espero conocer y aprender de las experiencias de cada persona y también ser aceptado por ustedes.
I love music, I managed to study at the Sebastián Echeverría Lozano School. From Valencia. My forte is the electric or acoustic guitar, I was in several bands before founding with my friend Marwis a band called Stalingrado of thras metal music genre. We got to play in several parts of the country until the devouring economy that we live made us emigrate from "our beautiful country Venezuela".
I emigrated to Bogota Colombia 5 years ago. My baby was barely 2 months old. In this country I learned to work construction. Ornamentation. Plumbing. I took care of grandparents. I worked selling scratched mangoes on the street. I sold sim and telephone plans and in a hardware store until I learned the work of sewing and now I am a tailor operator in the company where I am now.
I live with my two little tornaditos of four and two years old Heydan' Liham' and my chubby wife Cristina, that for them I am able to move the world, at the moment I am 32 years old. I still play the guitar but not as constantly as in previous years.
Me encanta la música, conseguí estudiar en la Escuela Sebastián Echeverría Lozano. De Valencia. Mi fuerte es la guitarra eléctrica o acústica, estuve en varias bandas antes de fundar con mi amigo Marwis una banda llamada Stalingrado de género musical thras metal. Llegamos a tocar en varias partes del país hasta que la economía devoradora que vivimos nos hizo emigrar de "nuestro hermoso país Venezuela".
Emigré a Bogotá Colombia hace 5 años. Mi bebé apenas tenía 2 meses. En este país aprendí a trabajar la construcción. Ornamentación. Fontanería. Cuidé a los abuelos. Trabajé vendiendo mangos rayados en la calle. Vendí sim y planos telefónicos y en una ferretería hasta que aprendí el trabajo de costura y ahora soy operadora de sastrería en la empresa donde estoy ahora.
Vivo con mis dos pequeños tornaditos de cuatro y dos años Heydan' Liham' y mi regordeta esposa Cristina, que por ellos soy capaz de mover el mundo, actualmente tengo 32 años. Sigo tocando la guitarra pero no tan constantemente como en años anteriores.
I like cycling. Every day I ride my bike to and from work, but these days I ran out of brakes, I crashed with a cab and they are still repairing it.
I'm not a big fan of animals but we adopted a newborn kitten called Sapphire who is already 7 months old with us and we adopted my brother-in-law Benjamin who is already 2 weeks old with us "thank God he is already working".
I work in a company called piel a piel where we make overalls, panties, joggers, pants, boxer shorts, flannels, and gala dresses. We work with an exclusive brand called Hipnos and one called Gnral which is a partnership between Dj Balvin and a band called Morath. It's very funny to work among so many women, listen to their stories, their gossip and their fights with each other and especially when they are older ladies and think they are 20.
I love rock, especially thrash metal, Violent Forcé, Reazor, Slayer, Hellhammer.
I consider myself a quiet person with good principles, I am not very expressive, but I miss my family, I have never been so far away from home, from my mother Mercedes, sisters Mileidy' Heidy' Andrea' nephews, friends and not so far from the beach. Sometimes I feel like I'm in the twilight movie, it never stops raining and cold in this city.
Me gusta el ciclismo. Todos los días voy y vengo en bicicleta, pero estos días me quedé sin frenos, me estrellé con un taxi y todavía lo están reparando.
No soy muy fanático de los animales pero adoptamos una gatita recién nacida llamada Zafiro que ya tiene 7 meses con nosotros y adoptamos a mi cuñado Benjamín que ya tiene 2 semanas con nosotros "gracias a Dios ya está trabajando"
Trabajo en una empresa llamada piel a piel donde hacemos monos, bragas, joggers, pantalones, bóxers, franelas y vestidos de gala. Trabajamos con una marca exclusiva que se llama Hipnos y otra que se llama Gnral que es una sociedad entre Dj Balvin y una banda que se llama Morath. Es muy divertido trabajar entre tantas mujeres, escuchar sus historias, sus cotilleos y sus peleas entre ellas y sobre todo cuando son señoras mayores y se creen que tienen 20 años.
Me encanta el rock, especialmente el thrash metal, Violent Forcé, Reazor, Slayer, Hellhammer.
Me considero una persona tranquila y con buenos principios, no soy muy expresiva, pero extraño a mi familia, nunca he estado tan lejos de casa, de mi madre Mercedes, hermanas Mileidy' Heidy' Andrea' sobrinos, amigos y no tan lejos de la playa. A veces me siento como en la película Crepúsculo, nunca deja de llover y hacer frío en esta ciudad.
I love video games. Anime. Horror movies. Romantic movies. Teasing my wife and being mean to my kids, and wrestling with them like the wwe guys until one of them counts to three. Leaving work and getting home fast is the coolest moment of my days, being and playing with them is priceless!
Me encantan los videojuegos. El anime. Las películas de terror. Las películas románticas. Molestar a mi mujer y ser malo con mis hijos, y luchar con ellos hasta que uno de ellos cuente hasta tres. Salir del trabajo y llegar rápido a casa es el momento más guay de mis días, ¡estar y jugar con ellos no tiene precio!

When I am in the mood for metal, my taste leans toward progressive, folk, and power genres, but thrash ain't bad. I listen to more bluegrass and old-time music, which might seem like a huge gulf, but the guitar shredding solo isn't really far off from a bluegrass band's rotation of soloist spotlights. It's one of the best parts of any live concert.
Hola Jacobtothe muchas gracia por tan grande apoyo, disculpa la demora en la respuesta, ya estoy adaptándome y aprendiendo a usar más Hive 🙂 una vez estuve tocando power pero sentí que no era mi lugar para estar en una banda, todos eran bonitos y yo el único feo, yo era más thrash jaja gane dinero en una agrupación de salsa y en otra de música llanera pero tocando el bajo, no he escuchado mucho el género bluegrass pero ese vídeo que me compartiste está genial, el banyo el violín la guitarra todo suena genial, Gracias por compartirme este género musical ya voy a escuchar y a investigar sobre el. Eres músico?
Hi Jacobtothe thank you very much for such a great support, sorry for the delay in replying, I am already adapting and learning to use Hive more 🙂 once I was playing power but I felt it was not my place to be in a band, everyone was pretty and I was the only ugly one, I was more thrash haha I made money in a salsa band and in a llanera band but playing bass, I haven't listened much to the bluegrass genre but that video you shared with me is great, the banyo the violin the guitar everything sounds great, Thanks for sharing this genre of music with me I'm going to listen and research about it. Are you a musician?
