The other day I had the opportunity to pass the bridge of Lisbon and meet the other side of the capital. I managed to make a walk in the area of Seixal in Setubal where I found this beautiful area where it embraces its nature and biodiversity, I also verified that the walk has an objective that is to meet with the house of biodiversity, so I took strength and made a 17 km walk to visit this nice path and today I will manage to share the route with you.

El otro día tuve la oportunidad de pasar el puente de Lisboa y conocer el otro lado de la capital. Conseguí realizar una caminata por la zona de Seixal en Setubal donde encontré esta hermosa zona donde lo abraza su naturaleza y biodiversidad, también verifique que la caminata tiene un objetivo que es encontrarnos con la casa de la biodiversidad, así que tome fuerza y realice una caminata de 17 km para visitar este lindo camino y el día de hoy lograré compartirles el recorrido con vosotros.

Tienes mucha manera de acceder a la localización, ya sea por barco o tren y caminar a la entrada del bosque, donde te toparas muchas cosas con las que lograrás observar la zona rural que lo rodea.
From the beginning of the hike to the biodiversity house is a route of about 7 km, so it is a total of 14 km round trip. At the beginning of the route, you will begin to notice signs on which you must follow to reach our destination. There are also informative signs about the biodiversity of the area, such as the type of plants and animals that are usually found in this habitat. On the way we pass a small lake that is currently dry, but in the rainy season it usually begins to fill up a little again.

Desde el inicio de la caminata hasta la casa de la biodiversidad es una ruta más o menos de 7 km, por lo cual es un total de 14 km de ida y vuelta. Al principio de la ruta, comenzarás a notar señales en las cual debes seguir para llegar a nuestro destino. También cuenta con letreros informativos de la biodiversidad del área, como tipo de plantas o animales que se suelen encontrar en este hábitat. En el recorrido pasamos un pequeño lago que actualmente se encuentra seco, pero en las épocas de lluvia se suele comenzar a llenar un poco nuevamente.
On the way to the tour I managed to run into a nice red beetle on the top of a plant, without losing the opportunity to capture that moment, getting a very beautiful photo that I can share with you today. Also in the signs we have very important information that I did not manage to realize, in these pine trees we have one of the plants that certainly did not pass through my head to run into, it is the saffron a very rare plant, but requested for being one of the tastiest spices to spice up our food, it is usually in bloom at the time of November which is the autumn season.

En camino al recorrido logre toparme con un lindo escarabajo rojo en el tope de una planta, sin perder la oportunidad capture ese momento, logrando obtener una foto muy hermosa que les puedo compartir el día de hoy. También en los letreros tenemos información muy importante que no logre darme cuenta, en estos pinales tenemos una de las plantas que sin duda no paso por mi cabeza toparme, se trata del azafrán una planta muy rara, pero solicitada por ser una de las especias más sabrosa para condimentar nuestra comida, suele estar en su florecimiento en la época de noviembre que es la estación de otoño.
We arrived at our destination. The biodiversity house is composed of a small park with solar panels, and has a lake so that the species that inhabit the area can hydrate. In the area you can find rabbits, wild boars and other wild species. We also found an insect house and a group of biologists who were taking care of the area and showed us this green caterpillar with black antennae, which was in the Toyon plant, has very beautiful colors and is not parasitic.

Llegamos a nuestro destino. La casa de biodiversidad está compuesta con un pequeño parque con paneles solares, y cuenta con un lago para que las especies que habitan la zona se puedan hidratar. En la zona te puedes encontrar con conejos, jabalís y otras especies silvestres. También nos encontramos con una casa de insectos y un grupo de biólogos que se encontraban cuidando la zona y nos mostró esta oruga verde con antenas negras, que se encontraba en la planta Toyon, tiene unos colores muy hermosos y no es parasitaria.
Leaving the biodiversity house behind, I managed to capture more nature photos and realized that the environment was different: the types of trees, more variety of fungi, insects, flowers and also a pond full of tadpoles.

Dejando atrás la casa de biodiversidad, logré capturar más fotos de la naturaleza y darme cuenta de que el entorno estaba diferente: los tipos de árboles, más variedad de hongos, insectos, flores y también con un estanque lleno de renacuajos.
